Vehicle Detail

I APOLOGIZE TO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAD BIDS IN ON THIS TRUCK WHEN THE AUCTION WAS ENDED. EBAY TERMINATED THE AUCTION BECAUSE I HAD POSTED YOUTUBE VIDEO LINKS IN THE WRONG FORMAT & SOMEONE REPORTED IT. THE LINKS WERE THERE SO YOU COULD HEAR THE TRUCK RUN AND SEE IT BEING DRIVEN...... I AM NOW RELISTING AND USING THE CORRECT FORMATTED VIDEOS: ANTIQUE VEHICLE 6 VOLT CHARGING SYSTEM 6 CYLINDER WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION This truck was started and driven on January 19, 2013 for the first time in years. To start it we only had to add fuel, install a new battery, lubricate the stater drive gear, & prime the carburetor. The truck fired right up, ran good and idled great. I was able to take it for a 2 mile drive around the neighborhood without problem. The truck ran great and never once tried to stall. The truck will require some tweaking and lubrication to be road ready. The brakes worked fine as far as stopping was concerned but you have to use your toe to pull the peddle back up. The accelerator sticks as well. The starter has a strong electrical smell coming from it and was removed from the truck after driving it as a safety precaution. The starter will either have to be rebuilt or a new one installed. The truck is good and tight with no squeaks or rattles when being driven. It is an absolute blast to drive!!! The seat was the last thing that was redone on this truck before being parked and it looks perfect! Interior is pretty nice and the exterior is not bad. Wood bed looks awesome even underneath! There are some paint chips and areas where the paint is flaking off now in an area around the radiator. Tires look like new and the truck is really clean other than the dust on it from just sitting. No rust. Photos were taken of the truck just as it is after sitting for years...dusty. Photos were taken out in my drive way and it is now sitting in my garage. I have a lot of photos on my computer of the truck so if you want more pictures please just provide your email address and I will send them. You are more than welcome to come see the truck in person or send someone to inspect it for you. I am located in Mount Vernon, Illinois 62864 All glass is perfect & side windows go up and down as should. Front window swings out as should. Old motor is ready to go as soon as the starter issue is taken care of!! I have the original clear title here in my name NOT a duplicate, salvage, rebuilt, etc.... It will be signed over to the new owner upon receiving payment in full. You don't see 1932 Chevy 1 tons everyday!! The truck is not pristine but it is SUPER SUPER nice!!!! This is your opportunity, maybe the only one you will ever have, to own a very nice and rare 1932 Chevy truck...... Although the truck does run and drive I would advise trailering or towing it home due to the sticking throttle and brakes and starter issue.. As stated the starter is completely off but quick and easy to reinstall as it is easy top access and only held on with two bolts. I inherited this truck. The previous owner was an older gentleman who routinely took it to car shows and cruises. I have chosen to sell it due to my lack of knowledge about 6 volt systems and I just have no purpose for this truck. It is an absolute beauty that I hope to find a home for where it will be sincerely appreciated. The buyer can store the truck here for up to two months at no cost if need be while transporting arrangements are being made. I prefer you pick it up in person. If transporting is necessary it will be your responsibility to make all arrangements and pay for the shipping. You will have to choose a door to door transporting company to pick the truck up here at my house. I will make myself available to assist the company of your choosing. If you opt to pick it up I can make myself available whatever day works for you. Full payment is expected within 1 week. I will not allow the truck to be removed from my property until full payment is received. Any checks, money orders, etc will have to fully clear my bank prior to removal of the truck. Please choose the payment source ($$) which is quickest and easiest for us both. You can't just hand me a check and leave with the truck...it has to clear at my bank first and this is not usually done overnight. NOT INTERESTED IN TRADES OF ANY KIND.
