1993 Dodge W-250 Ram 4x4 12v Cummins Turbo Diesel 5-speed. This truck was purchased around 06/2012. The truck was in excellant mechanical condition yet needed the driver floor pan replaced. Front left cab mount also needed work. We purchased a rust free donor cab and began the cab swap. All work done to this truck was to ensure that we had a rust free solid foundation. Once original cab was removed, entire frame was lubricated with fluid film and all wiring, linkage, lines etc were check and replaced. The original bed had a few dents that we pulled out and lined up. We prepared donor cab by reinforcing all supports, glassing and undercoating. Rocker panels did not have any rust. Paintable bed liner was applied prior to paint. New cab was mounted with new Energy Suspension body bushing and new NAPA HD shocks up front. Front grill was damaged when previous owner hit deer and was replaced as well. Every bolt, nut and screw was cleaned or replaced with grade 8 hardware. Interior of cab was layered with EverCoat OEM sound deadening panels, and HushMat, New weather stripping around both doors provides for a draft free quiet ride. Window channel stripping was also replaced. NEW ECM, radiator, NAPA Commercial battery, rear bumper, headlight doors, several marker lights, clearance lights, front and rear bulb sockets were replace and rewired. Truck was primed, sealed and sprayed with single stage polyurtheane in original Flame Red. Truck is work model, no AC or power windows. Truck starts, shifts and drives very solid and true. Frame straight, solid and is very clean. All work done was with the intention of us adding this to our fleet. This is not a mint show truck but is every bit solid and build to last. Interior is orginal, showing signs of wear on outter driver seat, front half of vinyl floor, driver side has minor tears in it, bed floor shows signs of use, although no rust. All gauges and information center lights and sensors work properly yet odometer has stopped. Original steel wheels with dog dish and beauty rings are included. The tires on the original steel rims are near end of usable life. Rims and tires pictured are 10 ply 265/75/16 studded. Rears are in great shape yet front have low center tread. Truck is pictured with 5th wheel capadable tailgate (no 5th wheel in bed.) Original tailgate is included. All fluids, air, fuel and oil filters replaced recently. Heater core and blower and in excellant shape. Air intake heater grid works perectly and truck starts with no hesitation when it is 0 degrees F outside. Truck has been extremely realibly. Truck is turn-key, ready to drive. Truck is originally from NY and is not PA inspected but is passable.
