Purchased a year ago from the original owner, this is a great example of a vehicle that has been cared for, loved and driven in California the majority of its life. If you have been looking for a 1984-1985 Toyota Truck with straight front axle, look no further, this is the vehicle for you. Visually, the vehicle’s exterior is in excellent condition. The vehicle’s hood and roof were beginning to show signs of wear and the original paint was beginning to peel away. I opted to have it completely re-painted the exterior of the truck with paint to match the factory color. Prior to paint, the vehicle was 99% rust free. Original decals and emblems were removed and replaced to retain the factory look.The interior is all original . The seats are with the original SR5 imprints and they are 9 out of 10 conditions. Also the dash is well preserved. It has the original floor mats, as well as the original carpet. Also the original Factory Sunroof is operational and rust-free. Mechanically, the vehicle is exceptionally strong with a rebuilt engine including new pistons, rings, head rebuilt and all new gaskets and seals. This truck runs better than it did new. The factory 5-speed transmission shifts smoothly. The truck was used as a daily driver and the odometer reads 216k miles . I have driven the vehicle at city and highway speeds and the truck accelerates and drives very nicely. The truck has a factory heater but was not originally equipped with Air Conditioning. The undercarriage and frame is solid and shows only minimal surface rust, as it was kept in a dry, warm climate.
