Vehicle Detail

*****1964 Plymouth Belvedere 426 Max Wedge 4 speed 4.10 rear end clone***** This is a factory Red on Red low mileage '64 Belvedere converted to a Max Wedge clone! The car has 63K miles on it and is an original manual shift car also. It is now powered by a 426 Max Wedge clone engine and a fresh rebuilt 833 4 speed transmission and a 4.10 sure grip 489 8 3/4 rear end. It has a REAL Max Wedge top end including original Max Wedge Heads, original Max Wedge Crossram Dual 4bbl Intake and linkage and original high rise Max Wedge Exhaust Manifolds. It has a .030 over '69 440 block, TRW L2295 pistons, Crower E13937 cam, solid lifters, intake valves 304-548, exhaust valves 310-557, Isky adjustable rockers, original 2205862 water pump, McLeod 10 1/2 clutch, Lakewood Steel Bellhousing, Mopar Performance Electronic Ignition with Orange box, 600cfm carbs with Max Wedge air cleaners, high torque mini starter, 3" Flow Master full exhaust system, Drum brakes with dual master cylinder, newer shocks and brakes, newer front end ball joints and bushings, new driveshaft U-Joints, High Performance battery, upgraded electronic style alternator, an original 1964 4 speed Hurst shifter, ET light weight front wheels, repro Max Wedge hood scoop and more. This is a great driver/street cruiser and you could take it out to the track if you want to try that out too! Car has nice trim and chrome, the paint is older and I would call it driver quality. The interior looks to be all original and is in good survivor condition. The car is pretty clean but has had some bodywork and a repaint of it's original color several years ago. It looks pretty good and looks to be all metal too. The underside has been undercoated and looks in good condition and appears to have had a couple of floor patches put in. The trunk looks very nice. All in all it's a nice car that has the Super Stock look and runs hard and strong. The gauges work, tach works, oil pressure gauge works, lights work... It runs, drives, shifts and stops like it should. It's a FUN car!
