You are bidding on a used AS-IS 1991 Acura NSX in fair to Good overall condition. Leather on driver seat side has some wear and tear on it. Previous owner said there was minor accident involving the front bumper and the car had been stolen at least once (this vehicle was previously listed as having a clear title but has been relisted because it was titled in PA with salvage title at one time. The current title is clear in the state of Virginia with a current vehicle safety inspection; see Carfax for more information on theft recovery vehicles). I only have one physical key that unlocks the driver’s side door (has two keyless entry fobs and a 2 keys for the driver’s door and two for the ignition).Timing Belt, tensioner, and water pump was done in 2002 along with the VTEC spoil valve gaskets, around 50K miles at that time. The OEM Radio passenger side speaker doesn’t seem to be working properly. AC works great, power windows both operate properly (both regulators were replaced in 2008), power seats have no issues, the lower valance of the passenger side headlight cover has a piece missing otherwise it works and looks fine. There’s a mucked up spot on the center console next to the coin tray (has Velcro on it). There is a chip in the center trim in the tail light assembly (see photo) but is not in a position to allow water to enter the car. The OEM spare tire mounting hardware is missing and along with the factory air pump. I have the OEM wheels for the car (they come with it) and one of the front wheels has a light scratch in it. The air intake box has been replaced with a large K&N filter. Paint on the car looks and feels good with a few minor nicks and scratches. I’m most impressed with the ride of this car once the tires warm up, a good balance of luxury/ sport. There are aftermarket HID lights installed but the beam pattern seems to be perfect (as compared to the light pattern on my SL500); no weird cut off light pattern, no one has flashed their headlights at me, and I’ve not had any issues driving in austere weather and night time conditions. The Virginia vehicle safety inspection was completed last month with no issues. This car has pretty much been sitting in my garage for the last four years and no one in the house drives it (if you can believe that). I don’t think its right to sock away a car like this in the corner of the garage; this is a car that beckons to be driven and should. If I’ve described something here (or not) that you’d like to see a better picture of please let me know and I’ll get a better shot if possible. The fog/driving/DTR lights are not complete (they work but they’re on a wireless remote); these are Canadian NSX OEM Factory DTR lights fixtures (extremely rare in the United States), but I haven’t had time to broker the OEM harness and switch (the Science of Speed website may have some or a way to get them). Salvage vehicles may not be operated on Virginia highways and may not be registered as long as there is an active salvage certificate. However, if the vehicle is rebuilt, a salvage certificate may be reassigned to a licensed rebuilder. This NSX was issued a Clean Virginia Title and has passed every Virginia State Inspection since Feb 2001 to include its most current inspection completed December 2012!
