Very Rare rare 1969 mercury XR7 Convertible, see deluxe marti report, of the 4,024 1969 Cougar Convertibles built, only 86 had the optional 351 Windsor engine and manual,and of those 86 cougars, only two were white ivory yellow.Documented ownership records back to the original owner.The xr7 was the top of the line cougar with many unique features.one repaint in original white ivory yellow.just replaced the original factory top with a new top of the line black vinyl top. Also has a new optional glass rear window.Original black leather seats are exceptional.power steering,Rim-blow steering heel.Walnut toned instrument panel with original factory tachometer that works. all instrument gauge lights work.Retractable headlights give a very stylish and clean look to the grill area.unique XR7 only Wheel Covers.Newly Re-Chromed Front Bumper.New tires have just over 1,000 miles on them, Spare has never been used.The cougar is far more than a Deluxe Mustang, it is larger, heavier, has more sound- proofing and just plain drives and handles better. i can personal attest to this as i have owned both several times over.Optional 351 windsor engine mated with a 3-speed manual transmission.
