Vehicle Detail
1966 ford shortwide custom cab. Iv been tinkering on this truck for a couple years now, off and on. I wanted a truck that would be a nice fun driver. One that I could drive and use without worry about dinging or scratching, but would still look nice and catch plenty of attention. Its almost where I want it, but now I must sell it. The body was sanded down and most of the dents fixed (still has a few small dings). I had it painted inside and out by a local bodyshop here in tulsa. Its is not a show quality paint job, but is very shinny and looks nice. It could be color sanded and buffed and would look better, but keep in mind, I wanted a truck that i could drive without crying about rock chips and bird poo. I had the wheels sandblasted and powder coated, and installed a nice set of hancook whitewall tires. New carped was installed with the newly reupholstered seat. I never got around to replacing the door window weatherstrips. I had planned on doing that when I replaced the windshield (still needs replaced due to crack). The truck has a 300ci 6 cyl motor and granny gear 4 speed trans. I had planned on swaping the 6cyl out with a v8 but didnt get that far. The 6cyl runs well but theres a growling sound while running. Im not sure what it is, possibly a throwout bearing? None the less, it runs fine and shifts through all the gears as it should. Its just a little noisy. Im sure there is more to tell about the little truck but Im drawing a blank. The reserve is set at what I feel as a low price. Ill be happy to answer any questions. Good luck and hapy bidding.
