Hello, You are bidding on a 1938 DeSoto Police car. This is a very neat car. As far as I know this is a original police car. The lights and sirens still work and has the shackle rings in the rear floorboard. This car has a six cylinder with a three speed transmission. The odometer does not work, so the mileage is unknown. The car is in great shape for its age and runs fine. Remember it is a 1938 so it does have some cosmetic problems that I have tried to show in the photo's. (a little bondo, paint bubbling around the windows, sunvisors missing on the interior) The car has been in the family since 2000 but it is now time to let it go. We have enjoyed it over the years, putting it in parades and driving it through town. (It is sure to turn heads) This car does have a noise in the transmission that I am yet to identify, but it has done it for years and has not caused a problem. Remember this car is being sold as is, so ask any questions you may have before bidding. I do not want to hide anything, I want people to know what they are buying.....a old car. Also feel free to come look at the car before bidding. This car is for local pickup only and must be picked up within seven days of the auction. $250 will be due through paypal within 24hrs of the end of auction and the remaining balance due in cash when the car is picked up.
