Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is a very, very nice 2003 Ford Explorer XLT, 4-door, 4x4. White with grey trim and tan leather interior. Leather is near perfect, some normal wear on the driver's seat but no rips anywhere. This truck also has the folding rear 3rd row seating (not shown in pictures) Bought this truck in Jan 2006 with 75k miles. Ford put in a new rear end and drive shaft at 80k miles, alternator at 120k, Aamco put in a new trans, with warranty balance still in effect, at 165k. Just put in new rear wheel bearings and battery. Engine runs great, oil changed every 5k miles with Motorcraft synthetic blend, burns no oil. I have noted in two photos some minor scratches, other than that, its in great shape. Also noted spare tire in the rear as the original was stolen (very common here in Chicago). 4x4 works great, front brakes are good, could use rear brakes/emergency brakes. Michelin tires are at 40% tread left. This truck is not perfect, it has over 186k miles on it, ALL HIGHWAY, so don't expect a showroom condition truck should you be the successful owner. I have tried to represent this truck as best as possible in the details and photos provided. Sold as is, no warranty expressed or implied. Please email any questions. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction close or buy-it-now.On Jan-20-13 at 09:00:20 PST, seller added the following information: Engine does run great however with it being below 0 today, I noticed it was running rough. I was told by a mechanic a few months back that #6 needed a new fuel injector. I have the injector and believe that may be why it is running rough on this cold day today.
