DEAL ALERT!!! NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! Up for sale we have a 1986 Honda Interceptor VF500F that we took in trade recently from a client of our dealership. We are a Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Honda motorsports dealership & we were diagnosing a rough running issue for a service department client when he decided to trade the bike in. We are offering this motorcycle as a project bike or fixer upper, and therefore we are listing with NO RESERVE!!! This Honda Interceptor VF500F currently does start & run, and it was on the road for the entire season this past summer of 2012. The previous owner spent over $1,400 in necessary services to keep the bike running on the road for 2012. This past summer our service department performed a spring tune up, oil & filter change, carb clean & sinc, valve adjustment, changed spark plugs, replaced front & rear brake pads, and replaced front brake master cylinder. We have recently diagnosed this motorcycle in our service department and found that it needs radiator hoses, new carbs, and a windscreen in order to be road ready. The entire motorcycle is in good condition, with a few dings visible on the sides & top of the gas tank, as well as scratches on the left & right sides of the front fairings (see close up pics below). This Honda Interceptor VF500F would be a good winter project for the next owner and this bike could be back on the road for spring 2013 with a minimal amount of effort.
