Up for auction with NO RESERVE!!! is a CALIFORNIA BLACK PLATE 1964 CHEVY NOVA 2-DOOR HARDTOP! This car is 99% RUST FREE as you would expect from a CLASSIC CALIFORNIA CAR! This car was purchased NEW here in the SF Bay Area and has NEVER LEFT! This car ORIGINALLY came with a 3-speed manual on the column that has now been converted to an AUTOMATIC ON THE FLOOR. I took this car in trade along with a few other vehicles that I will be listing here on EBAY shortly. This car is a VERY DEPENDABLE CLASSIC THAT STARTS UP EVERY TIME! It runs and drives nice and won't leave you stranded. The car is COMPLETELY ORIGINAL with the exception of a TURBO 350 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION with a B&M FLOOR SHIFTER, RALLY WHEELS, ONE REPAINT IN IT'S ENTIRE LIFE, THE FRONT SEAT BEING RE-UPHOLSTERED, FRONT DOOR PANELS, ALONG WITH A CHEVY TAPE DECK THAT WAS PUT IN PLACE OF THE STOCK DECK. This means that the DASH REMAINS UNCUT WHICH IS VERY HARD TO FIND...AND CHROME TIP EXHAUST! EVERYTHING ELSE IS COMPLETELY STOCK AND ORIGINAL TO THE VEHICLE! The STOCK 194 6-CYLINDER RUNS VERY NICE! It has NO FUNNY NOISES AND STARTS UP EVERY TIME! It could use a new valve cover gasket. The TURBO 350 TRANSMISSION SHIFTS GOOD! The u-joints in the rear end have NO FUNNY NOISES. The car goes STRAIGHT DOWN THE ROAD and BRAKES WELL. The BRAKES STOP STRAIGHT AND THERE IS NO PULLING TO EITHER SIDE. The suspension is GREAT! The front coils have been slightly lowered but a NICE SMOOTH RIDE IS STILL MAINTAINED. It does not ride bumpy AT ALL it is VERY COMFORTABLE. It has NEWER RALLY WHEELS on ALL FOUR CORNERS with bigs in the back and littles in the front. THE TIRES ON ALL FOUR CORNERS ARE NEW! The rear tires will rub slightly with more than two full size adults in the vehicle so I would recommend either rolling the rear fenders or going to a skinnier tire if you plan to carpool. It has never been an issue for me since it RIDES VERY NICE AS IS! The car has a BRAND NEW A/C DELCO GM BATTERY THAT WAS JUST INSTALLED! ALL THE ELECTRICAL FUNCTIONS AS IT SHOULD! Meaning: headlights, high beams, brake lights, tail lamps, running lights and blinkers ALL WORK GREAT! The INTERIOR DOME LIGHT WORKS and COMES ON AS IT SHOULD WHEN YOU OPEN THE DOOR! ALL THE DASH LIGHTS WORK ALONG WITH ALL THE "IDIOT" LIGHTS IN THE GAUGE CLUSTER. Unfortunetly the gas gauge has stopped working. I'm guessing it's the sending unit. The speedometer does not work due to it never being hooked up after the transmission swap. The HEATER/DEFROSTER WORK GREAT! ALL 3 FAN SPEEDS FUNCTION AS THEY SHOULD! THE WIPERS WORK AS THEY SHOULD AS DOES THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER! The am/fm/cassette stereo is not hooked up. The interior is ALL STOCK. The clutch pedal is still intact and down to the floor if you ever wanted to change it back to a 3-speed manual on the column, the original column is still there, or convert it to a 4 on the floor! The DASH HAS NEVER BEEN TAMPERED WITH! The ORIGINAL RADIO UNIT COULD GO BACK IN PLACE IF YOU WANTED TO GO THAT ROUTE. The front 2 door panels have been replaced with aftermarket units. The rear two quarter panel units are ORIGINAL TO THE CAR! There has been a B&M LOCKOUT SHIFTER installed on the floor. IT WORKS GREAT! The carpet, headliner, and back rear bench seat are still ORIGINAL TO THE VEHICLE! The front bench seat has been re-upholstered and it LOOKS GREAT! To sum it up: EVERYTHING IS THERE AND NOT MISSING! ALL THE GLASS IS IN GREAT SHAPE! ALL THE WINDOWS ROLL UP AND DOWN AS THEY SHOULD. The DOORS SHUT UNBELIEVEABLY SOLID. The car comes with NEW DOOR RUBBER! The rest of the rubber is ORIGINAL TO THE VEHICLE and in fair shape. This car is an ORIGINAL LIGHT SILVER MIST BLUE METALLIC CAR as seen in the trunk and door jams. The car has had ONLY 1 RE-PAINT IN A DARKER BLUE COMPARED TO THE ORIGINAL COLOR. There is NO HIDDEN BODYWORK AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES. As you can see in the pictures, various parts of the car have been sanded in various spots. There is a tiny bit of body filler in the door as seen in the pictures, and a little on the front driver front fender as seen in the pictures. It looks to be un-necessary since there is no visible body damage. The rest of the body is SUPER SOLID AND VERY STRAIGHT with very minor rust spots as shown in the pictures on the driver side rear quarter. There are a couple little dots there. There are two spots on top of the hood and a couple little bubbles on the B pillar. Thats it! The floors and trunk pan are SUPER SOLID and the trunk has been wire brushed and covered to prevent any surface rust. The chrome and brightwork are ORIGINAL TO THE CAR AND IN GREAT SHAPE AS SEEN IN THE PICTURES! Two pieces of the side trim are missing on the driver fender and the driver door but easily attainable. The rest is ALL intact and in decent shape as seen in the pictures. The bumpers are in EXCELLENT SHAPE! The BLACK AND YELLOW CALIFORNIA PLATE IS IN GREAT SHAPE!
