1979 Jeep CJ-5 4X4 V8 This is an immaculate looking, restored Jeep CJ-5 with aftermarket 32” wheels, aftermarket bumpers, Grant steering wheel and Kenwood stereo system. Original blue color. Everything works on this Jeep: All lights work (all turn signals, headlamps, high beams, reverse lights, hazard lights) All gauges work and read reliably (fuel level gauge, engine temperature, voltage, engine oil pressure) Speedometer and odometer both work and read reliably. Brakes and emergency parking brake work as they should. 4x4 High and Low gears engage and work as they should. Horn and windshield wipers works as they should. The frame, body and floor pans are all original and solid. Floor pans were repaired several years ago with new welded sections. The electrical system was replaced in November 2012. (All new wiring harness, fuse block, switches and sensors). This work was professionally done by a recoginized Jeep specialist. I have all receipts for this and other work done. Reliable long distance driver. Cruises comfortably at 65 miles per hour on the highway. Odometer reads 25,690 miles -- It was reset to zero when the engine was overhauled with new K&N air filter, Edelbrock intake, carburetor, valve covers and Edelbrock 1405 600 CFM carburetor. New Kenwood KDC-X895 Stereo system (comes with remote control) professionally installed November 2012. This stereo has USB and iPod port and Bluetooth. Well maintained vehicle, always stored in garage, with all fluids changed regularly. Front and rear lap belts installed. Recent maintenance includes new serpentine belts, spark plugs, wires and distributor replaced in November 2012. Comes with clear North Carolina title and North Carolina safety and emissions inspection records. Passed North Carolina safety inspection and emissions test in September 2012 (inspection record shown in photo). Vehicle ships with older black soft top and doors.
