1970 Mercedes 280SE, 120K miles, this is the 108 body, 6 cylinder, mechanical fuel injection, (gas, not diesel), automatic, dark brown interior, new correct Interstate battery, rebuilt drive shaft, Kangol seat belts, solid trunk floor, currently registered and driven weekends. Car spent most of its life in CO and CA so while it has some minor rusting it is not a rust bucket. New brake pads and machined rotors on all 4 wheels. Engine runs fine, transmission shifts fine. Ignition has been temporarily converted to Pertronix pointless, I have the parts to convert to stock ignition which I will include. Interior needs butt part of driver's seat, the rest of the interior is nice. Needs front door sill top vinyl pieces replaced, I have them but they will need to be painted to match the interior. AC does not work but is complete. All the electric windows work, the driver's needs a regulator, I have a used one which I will include. Windshield has a crack in the left corner, (not in sight line). Other spare parts will be included with the sale including a Becker MB Stereo, extra rear calipers and discs, wood trim for the dash, dash pad, steering wheel, rear camber compensator core for rebuilding, and more. Heater blower, rear camber compensator, and central locking system need repair. This is an solid, driveable project car. Clear Illinois title in my name.
