I have owned this Porsche for a year. It recently suffered from some damage to the right side, mainly the fender and bumper and rather than fix it I would rather sell it to someone who wants to take on the project of restoring it to it's former glory. The previous owner had spent $$$'s on it and his ad is posted below. Mechanically sound, wouldnt cost much to make this car great again. I dont have the time. For sale is my loved and meticulously cared for 1987 Porsche 951. I purchased this car almost 5 years ago and that is when the project began. When I bought the car it was in very clean shape though it had been sitting for some time in the previous owners garage in pure stock condition. To my knowledge it has spent its entire life in Texas free of the salty ice roads up north. I spent the past 3 years going through the entire car mechanically and have made it into a very trustworthy daily driver. Not only is it a trustworthy daily driver, but it is very powerful and very fun to drive. I have left many poor mustangs behind me licking there wounds and it continuously turns heads. From time to time I drive her to work but most of the time I drive her on the weekends for a night out with the wife. There is a long list of mechanical, performance, and visual upgrades that have been performed. Oversized Brimbo brake calipers, Porsche Cup 1 wheels, New Bridgestone tires, Koni shocks, 3" Fab Speed cat bypass exhaust system, MSD Blaster, K&N Filter, Autothority Stage 2 chipset, Oversized intercooler, performance fuel regulator, Deutsch Nine front nose turbo splitter, Deutsch Nine side skirt rocker panels, Deutsch Nine double helix head lights, clear side and front marker lights, new tail light lenses, new paint, new leather interior, indiglo backlit guages, indiglo backlit pillar pod guages, custom interior leather apolstery, infinity subwoofer amp and speakers, sony head unit with CD player, and much more. I have spent thousand and thousands of dollars on her.All work on her was performed by Eurocar Werk which is a highly respected shop here in Houston, Texas. You ask why are you selling her. I feel that I have finished the project and have created some great memories with this car and it is time to move on. This is my second 944 restoration in the past 8 years. Its is time to finishing my other tuning projects.I am looking for a buyer that will love this car.
