1994 BMW 740iL. Car has a mechanical issue with the torque converter. It needs a new one as advised by my local foreign car repair guy. Seats are not ripped but need cleaning. Car runs great and has a new $150 battery in it. V-8 with lots of power. Car is driveable, but it has to warm up before the trans will start pulling. You can hear the converter whining loudly. Converter will cost you $200. It also has a bad carrier bearing in the driveshaft that will need fixing (I have the new bearing as well as new donut gaskets for the exhaust). This car would part out for double, my starting price alone. Or if you have a good mechanic, you can have it fixed for around $500. The 740iL was the nicest of the BMW's when it came out. Has ALL of the bells and whistles. All lights and guages work. Radio works. RF window is off track but can easily be fixed. All body lines are good, and to my knowledge has never been wrecked. I have all paperwork on the car. Transmission was rebuilt @ 167K. Any questions, please ask.
