Vehicle Detail
Selling my 1955 Chevy Rat Rod pickup. This pickup has been camaro clipped and has camaro rear end. The rear end is on top of the springs. 2 coils have been cut out of the front springs. It has a 377 Stroker motor. I will give you a quick run down of the motor.*400 block board 30 over. Completely studded and O-Ringed with Piano wire around top of each cylinder *Scat Crank Pro Comp Soker Lightweight*Eagle H-Beam 6 inch Rods*Speed Pro Pistons *Speed Pro Plasma Moly Ring*Clevite Bearings *Double Roller Timing Chain Set (can't remember which brand)*RHS Por Action Cast Iron Heads*Cooper Head Gaskets*Lunati Solid Roller Cam Shaft & Lifters*Crower Roller Rockers*High Rise Aluminum Intake*Holley CarbAll this back up with a 3500 Stall Converter & TH 350 TrannyThe engine has had the lower portion of the water jackets filled with compound. The motor was originally built with a 871 BDS Blower with it not longer has. With the change of the pistons this motor would be very capable of handling the blower again. Motor has about 500 miles on it since rebuilt. I'm running a set of Headman Headers with a 3 exhaust with Flowmaster Super 10 Series Muffler with Scavenger Turndowns This things sounds wicked mean and breaks the tires loose at 70 mph. It is a hell of alot of fun to drive. It's the main attraction at my shop. It has Pontiac Sunfire bucket seats with B&M Floor ShiftierHas Auto Meter Tach with shift light. I have front and rear bumper for the pick-up and the 2 matching Cragars which will be on the pickup. The 2 white wheels do NOT go with the truck. It has new window rubber on the front and rear glass. The paint job is new. We painted it flat black then sprayed turquoise over then went back and wet sanded it back down to give it that old drug out of a pasture look. This truck does have a few little rust spots some dents and dings he left these to go with the paint job. Like I said it's a Rat Rod.I have ruffly 14k in the motor. I know I'm not going to get my money back, but I'm expecting to get fairly close to what I have in the motor for the whole truck. Anyone is more than welcome to come look at the truck before bidding on it. If you have to ask your wife or mom do me a favor and just don't bid. If you bid you and win you are responsible, so like I said before I encourage you to come look at it before bidding if possible or call me and I will give you as detailed as possible of a run down of the truck.I sure there are things that I have left out on here. This truck is a hot rod there will be NO test piloting, so don't ask for a test drive. This truck is for sale locally I reserve the right to end auction early. For anymore questions call me (Billy) 325-514-0286I maybe interesting for a 1953-1967 Corvette Rolling Project or close to rolling. Depends on what it is.
