Vehicle Detail

First off this is a classic 1979 Chevy G10 NOT A G20. I could not find a G10 section on Ebay. It has a 350 5.7L engine, smooth shifting tranny and lots of new parts.I've taken this to Portland, Everett, and other places and had no issues. I do not know the actual miles since the odometer only has 5 digits and shows the mileage I put above. I do know the engine and tranny were replaced a year ago with a lower mileage combo. You can register this as a classic van as long as you don't use it to haul anything otherwise you just register it normally. Registration for this will be around $95 and the plates are good until next December so score one for you on that if you live locally. The van has been sitting for over a few weeks now (I start it every few days to keep the battery charged) and the van is not pretty, it needs bodywork and interior work to restore her to full glory but besides the bodywork you're getting van with good engine and tranny other other new parts which are at the core of any vehicle and the rest you build from there. I did a lot of interior work and removed the awful carpet, chairs and rickety cabinets in the cargo area however some bits and pieces of carpet remain. You can slap some carpet on the floor and ready to rock but I recommend you replace the plywood flooring with 1 or 2 new ones (get them cheap at Home Depot) since the plywood now is weathered due to a leak that I fixed with the old vent. Walls are decent and you can manage and just put up your own carpet or plywood again on the cheap. I've invested over $650 on the van already, some of the issues I fixed are: Replaced engine and tranny a year ago New steering column New ignition switch New front brakes New roof vent Tune up (spark plugs, etc) New side window New battery cable Battery just recharged New windshield wipers New stereo wiring to rear speakers Plates good until December 2013 CONS Front windshield needs to be replaced Will need body work and paint job Windshield wiper motor needs to be replaced (can pick up at wreck yard for $40) Side door joints will need to be lubricated for easier closing Tear in passenger seat and slight tear in drivers seat It's sat for a few weeks now so think the muffler might need some TLC I installed a NEW stereo and front speakers but I was taking them with me, if you want me to leave I will but for an additional $150 (and that's still under the $210 I paid for not only the stereo and speakers but the install). This van could be worth up to $3 - $4k once the bodywork is completed so can be an investment or just use yourself. Clean title and registration in hand. Buyer is responsible for the transport of the vehicle as I will not transport outside of providing keys to your transport company. Like all vehicles sold on Ebay this is sold "AS-IS".On Jan-13-13 at 22:03:55 PST, seller added the following information:A few people have asked so yes to sweeten the deal anyone who buys this before the end of the bid timeframe I will toss in the new front speakers and stereo with detachable face.
