1970 Volkwagen Beetle partially restored. I had to have back surgery and just don't have enough back left to finish this project. Chassis is done. Chassis was completely disassembled, cleaned or sandblasted and reassembled. Floor pans were replaced. New fuel line. All bearings, bushings and seals were replaced. Torsion arms and bars were inspected and reassembled. New steering box, tie rod ends, calipers, shocks, brakes and master cylinder. 5 new tires. Transmission is fine. Lots of other new parts also. I drove car home upon purchase. Motor ran fine and is still assembled. Original body was found to be too far gone to restore. I purchased another body that is absolutely amazing. Heater channels fully intact with no rust. Entire body was practically rustfree. The nose had been bumped at one time and could have been fixed but I decided to put new front clip on. Hood lines up nice. Also replaced panel behind passenger door also due to being dented in. Original German Fenders. $1300 plus in parts have been purchased. Most were purchased from CIP1. Partial list of new parts is brake light switch, mirror, body moulding kit, speedometer cable, tie rod ends, master cylinder, headlight chrome rims, shocks, brakes, floor pans, steering box, wheel cylinders, 5 tires, steering damper, gas door release cable, hood handle, door handle guards, bushings, bearings, seals and a bunch of other little stuff. I have all receipts. I have pictures of entire restoration thus far. I have several manuals and parts books There is an extra set of doors, hood and motor cover. I also still have original body if you want it. I am sure I have forgotten something so if you have any questions please ask. Pickup only. Thanks
