Vehicle Detail
1966 Chevy Corvette 427/425HP 312-217-1912 RON You are bidding on a 1966 Chevrolet Corvette (big block) 427/425HP NUMBERS MATCHING engine, trans, rearend. The engine pad numbers are TII22IP 6107049, the engine casting numbers are 3869942 P. This is the original ENGINE, M-21 Transmission,Original Winters Industry Intake, original exhaust manifolds, and rearend. This is the original color of the car NASSAU BLUE and the original color of the interior BLACK. We are the second owner of this car. The car was restored 15 years ago(by Corvette City) including Engine, Transmission, Rearend. The car was painted with lacquer paint. This vehicle only has a total of 37,000 original miles!!! The car has been lightly driven and taken to many car shows though NEVER abused-adult driven. This car retains all of its original glass with markings. The factory options on this car include (working) power antenna, 4 speed manual M-21 transmission, original Teakwood steering wheel, factory side pipe exhaust, original factory radio (working), factory spinner hub caps etc. The car comes to the new owner completely detailed. All the gauges work (including tachometer speedometer etc.) all of the lights work including the headlight covers. It also has a transistorized ignition. The overall condition of this car is excellent. NO ACCIDENTS. The paint has a brilliant shine and really stands out. Although it was painted 15 years ago it still shows great with the only flaws that I can see are on the hood-4 small bubbles-the size of a pencil eraser. There are no dents or cracks on the body nor the chrome bumpers. The rubber around the windshield, windows, hood and door jambs are excellent with no rips or tears or hardening. The tires that are currently on the car are new and I also have a full set of GOLD LINE tires that are available at an extra cost. This 1966 BAD BOY BIG BLOCK starts, runs and idles effortlessly and is free of squeaks and rattles as it drives down the road. The interior is excellent with NO rips, tears, stains including the carpet. The dashboard is free of cracks/fading, the door panels are free of rips/fading. The headliner is perfect. The original glass is in excellent condition with no chips, scratches or crazing. The stainless trim is excellent with no dings or hazing. This is a rare opportunity to own a 1966 Corvette Coupe 427/425hp 4 speed and numbers matching. There are ZERO issues with the engine, trans etc. No aftermarket components added-ALL STOCK.
