today we have a 2007 chevrolet avalanche lt 4x4 this truck has the 5.3 liter v8 the motor runs good but the low oil pressure light is on and has a lifter noise does not have any lower end noise i researched this problem on the internet and it is saying this is a common problem with the 07 up 5.3 and there is a valve lifter oil filter under the oil sending unit that plugs up and you have to remove the intake manifold to get to it that is apossible cause or oil pump .this would be a great deal for some one who is mechanically inclined the trans shifts great and has been worked on at the dealer there is a scrape on the lower right quarter panel left front fender looks like it has had some paint work little off color the interior is nice has black leather truck is loaded with all the lt options incuding moon roof leather bose sound system heated seats.i have looked on ebay and these trucks are 25k and up so if you are a mechanic this will make a nice truck for half the money buy it and fix it for your wife.we are a licensed mi dealer all vehicles are sold as is truck is located in warren mi and will be picked up there 48089 deposits are none refundable any questions call bob at 248 808 3903 UPDATE DID TWO BACK TO BACK ROTELLA OIL CHANGES THE TRUCK NOW HAS GREAT OIL PRESSURE IDLES WITH 40PSI DRIVES AT JUST UNDER 60 PSI I AM GOING TO DRIVE IT TOMORROW AND SEE IF THE LIFTER PUMPS UP
