Could use a good cleaning inside and out. routine maintenance performed - synthetic oil every 5K miles. 100,000 mile service last week of October. All belts and lube replaced, including timing belt. Paperwork included. ENGINE HAS ROD KNOCK that started on 12/28/2012. Will need to purchase new/used engine or have it rebuilt. This is the same engine in the WRX turbo models. When the rod knock started, I drove it straight to my Subaru mechanic and he diagnosed the issue to be rod #3. Unknown why it failed. Car starts and runs, engines rocks but it is not frozen. Oil pump and turbo are fine. He quoted me $4200-$4600 for a NEW and installed short block engine from Subaru. Baja is in South Austin, Texas. Selling AS IS and you will need to pay to have it towed. Everything else is in great working condition - no other issues. All electrical works including power windows and doors. Brakes, transmission, turbo, A/C, CD player, and odometer are all in good working condition. I have not paid it off yet. I am financed through a Houston, TX credit union (has a branch in Austin, TX). You can make a payment straight to the credit union so that we can get the pink slip and start the registration transition.
