1970 PENTON 125 SIX-DAY CLASSIC LIGHTWEIGHT IDST / MOTOCROSSER NO RESERVE! YOU BID, YOU WIN. Please read the ENTIRE auction listing, it answers 99.99% of the questions most people ask, and tells a LOT about the bike. UNRESTORED, mostly original, non-running. Only 1970 & 71 had the steel tank; first year for the "Sunburst" finned head. Spare cylinder & head included. I purhcased this bike AS-IS, and haven't done anything to it, so i don't know the internal condition. It will need new crank seals, carb overhaul, fork overhaul and new tires at a minimum. "What you see is what you get". These are all the photos I have of the bike at the moment; I can take more for serious bidders. Still has the FIM / ISDT decal on the tank top (faded, but readable). Perfect for a concours restoration or just get it running and go play in the dirt. Would make a really nice AHRMA vintage motocrosser or cross-country bike if you choose to go that way; rub shoulders with the greats from the past! John Penton knew what he was doing when he built these little giant killers, they are pound-for-pound better than anything in thier class. Many an International Six Day Trials (ISDT) were won on these little mudders. NOTHING ON THIS BIKE IS SPRAY-PAINTED. No attempts were made to hide ANYTHING on the bike. NO WARRANTY...
