I have a 1981 VW Rabbit Truck for sale that I have owned for about 14 years now.I am a VW Guy and have used this truck sparingly and have taken very good care of her and have added many upgrades over the years.The Biggest and rarest upgrade is the GTI Front End Wheels and Engine since VW never made a GTI Pickup.As you can see in the pictures she has no rust anywhere and the struts which are always rusted out are clean as new.The Truck has passed Smog here in California in Aug and is currently a Non-Op.The Truck runs and drives Very Well and Straight. All Blinkers and Tailights work fine but the Liscense Plate bulbs have burned out and need to be replaced.Also the E-Brake Handle Needs some work.The passenger Door Panel is starting to come off.She also needs some window cranks.If you are planning to come here to Sacramento and pick up Truck please be aware of a small crack I recently noticed in Timing Belt. That is the only fix to take her across several states because my Truck is a runner.I have a Clear Title and Buyer needs to arrange Shipping or pick truck up themselves.This Truck is being sold as is and has no warranty. Please pay for truck within 5 days of auction close date. Upgrade Engine to late model 1.8 and Jetta Transmission. New Rack and pinion Installed 10 years ago. Complete Exhaust system rebuilt with New Catalytic Converter Installed. New Radiator. New Water pump.OEM VW Pickup Only Fuel Pump. New Battery. NOS Factory Windshield Installed. GTI Front End Insatalled but GTI Logo was Stolen, Easy Fix. GTI wheels.Shifter Bushings Replaced and Shifter Rebuilt.
