Surf City or cruisin' 1966 rambler cross country wagon fine example of an old Classic wagon Car runs ,drives, stops great....... all in fine working order. Drive train: 232 straight 6 ( runs great), flash-o-matic auto transmission (runs great) pertronix electronic ignition, new wires, new fuel lines. offenhauser 4 bbl intake manifold, holley 390 carburetor. timed ,tuned, dialed in! (5) new tires, new muffler and exhaust,new brakes and, brake lines, new shocks. Interior: all stock and in good shape, headliner is great, seats are in good shape, back perfect, front has 1 blown seam but, fabric is in good shape ( needs a restitch on the seam) all glass is good and, clear, new weather stripping on all the doors. back carpet is included just took it out to take pics. could use a front carpet kit. ( I removed it for 2 reasons. (1) the heater core was leaking (replaced) and had soaked the carpet. (2) to check for rust on the floors. (found only light surface rust) ground down then sealed. Exterior: original paint still shines nice and beads well, new front grill, headlight bezels, signal lenses, front and, rear bumpers rechromed, all trim is intact and in shiny good shape. All in all this is a great old SW thats ready to go cruisin' For the bad: or needing attention: car was lowered (cut coils) but, need coil bushings (bout $20), needs a carpet kit. As for rust.... only place that has any is (1) eraser size spot on the passenger rear fender well (pictured), rear end has a "howl" to it, found the diff. was very dry when I bought it, drained it, new seal and, filled with 90 weight oil. Still has a bit of a howl to it...... having said that, it will prolly go for a zillion miles like that but, it is still there and, bugs me. ( thats just me) Bottom line.... an awsome car you could drive to hell and, back with no problem!! Car has won awards at cruise ins and, shows. Low rider fun !!!!On Dec-31-12 at 16:05:59 PST, seller added the following information: Also have a tub 'o parts that go with the car, orginal manifold,original carb, original grill & headlight bezels. ahhh... ( thinking) various gaskets, shop manual, electrical stuff, original air cleaner and other goodies. Just can't think of it all now. But, there's STUFF!!
