Vehicle Detail
Here i have a 1963 Ford Falcon Futura 2 door sedan. The car started out with a 6 cyl. engine from the factory, but the owner before me put a small block ford 302 in it that they had rebuilt. Yes it was done correctly. It had a few thousand miles on the engine rebuild when i bought the car, i drove the car for around 6 months in nice weather before i decided to restore it. I posted some pics of the car before i took it apart. The engine is currently out of car, along with trim pieces and glass, interior. The car didn't have alot wrong with it before i started to work on it, the drivers side front floor had a couple rust holes, so i replaced it with a new correct piece(not just a flat piece of sheet metal). I have all the glass(windows) for the car, but the windshield is broken, but you can get one online fairly cheap. I have a c4 auto transmission for it that was rebuilt a few years ago. The engine has a holly 600 carb, i have new textured black valve covers that say falcon on them. It has a ford 8" rear end, with a brand new center section with new 3.50 gears with posi. The rear end also has five lug axles, i had them done by a machinist. The car has new five lug disc brake conversion on the front, with new steering linkage. I put new pair of sub frame connectors on the car. i have a lower engine brace, and a shock tower brace that are new for the car, along with a new aftermarket trans crossmember. It has new upper and lower suspension a-arms with ball joint and i have new eibach coil springs too, has newer rear leaf springs. The car has new chrome smoothie wheels and a good set of used tires with lots of tread left(probably 90% left). The car is in primer and ready to prep and paint. It has gray k36 ppg primer on the hood, doors, and fenders, and sikkens blue primer on back half. i used ppg primer on front because thats where i started and had it left over from another job at the time and didnt want to waste it, Then i got a good deal on the sikkens primer and did the rest of the car. the car will need a headliner, but you can get one pretty cheap from several places, and will need some shocks, and carpet. I have just about everything for the car besides the headliner, i have alot of parts including a very good grille. the trim is painted white, but i was going to strip it and polish it up. The interior is in good shape also. The car has a good a/c unit for it(it works). New a-arm braces with bushings. Newer radiator.I have all the wiring for the car, The car was appraised just before i bought it for $6,500 with the rust in the floor.(just thought i would throw that in) it is a good car. Car is sold as-is. I have a lot of time and money into this car, I have had the car for a long time and would like to see it go to a good home. If anyone wants more pics just ask and i will try to get them to you. thanks for looking and happy bidding.
