FRESH BARN FIND: 1937 Rolls Royce 25-30Chassis # GHO 40Engine # C 29 C Last registered 1987-88, reportedly stored for much longer. It is a 4-door small limo by coachbuilder Thrupp & Maberly, w/glass division and cloth covered seats and jump-seats to the rear. All wood and handles appear to be in place---including the crank-handle on the glass division. Even the braided "help-out" pulls are in place and in good condition. Coachwork is all aluminum, including the 4 spare doors and extra trunk/boot lid. Car appears very original and complete with lights, mascot, and horns. Dash/instruments and glove box appear to be compete and in good order. The two piece-starting handle is in clips on the passenger-side firewall/bulkhead; DWS built-in jacks are under the front and rear axles; DWS jack extension w/3-knob handle are in clips on drivers-side firewall/bulkhead and the hub-wrench is on its arm beside the engine next to the hood/bonnet; the right and left tool drawers are under the leather front seat with many hand tools including oil can & syringe, grease gun, tyre irons, spanners, tyre pressure gauge etc. etc.; the mirrors, front & rear cigar lighters are there along with the handbook, original keys, tax disk from the UK for 1959 and many papers, receipts, etc. 1 original aluminum British license plate included. It appears that a blue windshield washer was installed on the drivers side firewall/bulkhead as well as an orange-colored Fram-type oil filter added to the engine. Even the aluminum underbelly splash pans (windage trays) are in place. Comes with clear California title -PLUS- an additional 4 doors (with some hardware, hinges, etc), an additional rear deck/boot lid with its hardware -and- two pop-out rear windows, again with hardware. This car has a fold-out front windshield with all hardware complete and in place. The photos show front and rear chrome bumpers. The ACE discs and screw-on rings are with the car but were removed for photos showing the wire wheels The ACE disc arm spanner is in one of the under-seat tool drawers and the ACE clip horse-shoe is on one of the key rings. NOTE: Included but not pictured - spare tire, wheel, tube, Ace clamshell sidemount wheel cover and buckle and most mounting hardware. There has been no attempt to start this car to check it out in any way. The car is offered "AS IS" "WHERE IS" in San Diego county, California.
