CHECK OUT MY OTHER EBAY LISTINGS. 1998 Chevrolet Corvette ConvertibleIntroduction Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS,LLC. You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars and trucks I’ve listed for sale nationally. I’ve got 15 years of classic car and truck experience. I’d like to put that experience to work for you. Over the years I’ve featured many classic cars and trucks at multiple different auctions across the United States. I consign multiple classic cars and trucks at all four of the Barrett Jackson auto auctions every year. I’m considered one of the top consignors at Barrett Jackson. I’ve had many classic cars and trucks sell in the top 25 highest sale priced vehicles for each event. They’ve also offered some of my cars as the “Marc Schiliro Collection”. I was fortunate to have Speed TV at my new facility for an interview for Barrett Jackson that aired during the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Palm Beach 2012. I also have had many cars that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I specialize in beautiful classic cars and trucks that have what I call “The Pop Factor”. I purchase classic cars and trucks that are finished, I redesign other people’s restorations and have also coordinated restorations from start to finish. I’m currently not doing full restorations as it takes too much time and money. I love what I do and I’m extremely passionate about it! I just opened a beautiful new facility located in Seekonk, MA. MS CLASSIC CARS is open to the public five days a week. We offer about 25 classic cars and trucks for sale with a few of them being on consignment. We also offer used cars, memorabilia and automotive detailing. Our facility is very neat and organized. When you call you deal directly with me. I appreciate the opportunity. Market I've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over fifteen years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only at the auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially the classics! I've learned it's not just the United States; it’s the entire world. Barrett Jackson stated, "Foreigners can sometimes represent 25% of the registered bidders at one of our auctions." At the Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ 2011 they stated, "There was a registered bidder from every state in the USA.” I've also learned that no matter the gender or age, all different people appreciate this hobby. Another example would be the Barrett Jackson auto auctions; not only do millions of people watch it live on the Speed Channel but hundreds of thousands of people attend these auctions. Every year the attendance of visitors at the event and number of viewers on T.V. increase. Over the years I've noticed that the extremely detailed classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Currently the overall market is on the raise once again. Certain classic cars are on the rise and others are on the decline. Typically, the classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people don't own. In other words, there are classic cars that haven't saturated the market. The cars that are at every car show and auction and page on the Internet for sale are the ones that aren't changing in value or are slowly on the decline. Of course, if the car is spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. It's all about supply and demand, not a good or bad economy. Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character. “I’m putting my money where my mouth is” I’m just a 36 year old blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz. I was selling my classic cars and trucks part time. Although I had my used car dealers license I didn’t have a facility that was open to the public. Overall things were going just fine. However, my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership. I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership. I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen and now have a lot more overhead. Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong? I consign anywhere from three to eight cars at each Barrett Jackson auto auction at no reserve because I know there’s always going to be bidders for classic cars and trucks. DescriptionYou’re looking at another beautiful classic car listed by MS CLASSIC CARS. I’m proud to present a very beautiful 1998 Chevy Corvette Convertible with only 12,230 original miles. Yes, 12,230 original miles! This was the first year for the fifth generation Corvette body style better known as the C5. I’ve always appreciated these cars as most car enthusiasts do. They're very sporty looking and comfortable to drive in. This car was purchased brand new at Lee Chevrolet in Kirkland, WA by Mr. and Mrs. Holan. Let’s say it was a gift to each other. From what I gathered it was more the Mrs. Holan’s car. They purchased the car on 06-29-1998. The original MSRP was $49,614.00. The 1998 Corvette convertible were hot property and dealers had a waiting list and were charging over the MSRP. The Holan’s paid $53,564 for the car and after taxes and fees the total price of $61,592.58. This is documented with the original window sticker and the bill of sale. These items and the original owner’s manual with all other factory manuals are included. It has two sets of keys and transmitters. This car was never driven in the rain or snow and only was driven 12,230 miles over the last 14 years. The car was purchased by the second owner in Scottsbluff, NE and wasn’t driven much either. It’s been treated like a baby. I don’t think the pedal has ever down to the floor. I purchased it from the second owner and sold the car locally to a gentleman on 06-15-2012. He put about 1000 miles on the car and then decided to trade in back to me recently for a classic muscle car. So now it’s a three owner car. As my website indicates I like to add features to my vehicles that make them have more of a “POP FACTOR”. I decided to wrap the car with OE Z06 style wheels that are gunmetal with a polished lip and have the Corvette logo on the center cap. The wheels are 18.x8.5 on the front and 19x10 on the rear. These wheels look amazing and give the car a great stance. I’m including the original chrome wheels with tires that are pictured below. I also had the disc and rotors cleaned and added Corvette red caliper covers which look great. Some other things I did to the car to add character was Corvette hood decals, Corvette decals on front and rear bumper, Corvette flags on the center of the steering wheel and new carpeted floor mats with the Corvette flags. It also has a Corvette door sill protectors and a Corvette under truck lid mat. From what I’ve gathered the color combination of artic white with pewter leather and a white convertible soft top is rare. The exterior, interior, engine compartment and undercarriage is in excellent condition. Think of about that beautiful night with the top down and the radio turned up. This is one of the lowest mileage 1998 Corvettes on the market and is priced very competitive. Get it before someone else does! As the original window indicates here’s a list of the options: Continuously variable real time damping Adjustable sport leather bucket seats Compact disc player Active handling system Air conditioning-electronic dual zone Six-way passenger power seat Memory package AM/FM stereo with CD player Performance axle ratio Body side moldings Fog lamps Color-keyed front floor mats License plate frame *** Inspection Report*** If you read my introduction tab or visited my website you’ll probably agree that I’m a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic cars and trucks. My reputation and feedback speaks for itself. No vehicle is perfect and I want to be 100% upfront about each car. This car has low mileage and is in beautiful condition but does have a few small imperfections such as a few small chips here and there. The car is 14 years old! Please call me and I’ll go over the entire in complete detail. Thank you. Conclusion Classic cars and trucks make great investments and are extremely fun to own. It’s so exciting to search for a classic, purchase one and watch it come off the trailer, add your own touches, take it for a ride or just look at it sitting in the garage after a hard day at work. Classic car and truck collectors aren’t just in the United States but worldwide. The classic car and truck market is growing every day. It’s seen at car shows and auctions, in magazines and on TV shows. Get your new classic car or truck today. You only live once, if you can afford it, do it! I do the best I can to represent my classic cars and trucks. My results, feedback and reputation speak for themselves. Everyone’s opinion of a classic car and truck is different and I encourage questions prior to a purchase. I have a beautiful showroom with excellent lighting and a lift for a complete inspection if requested. Inspections will be scheduled by appointment only. The closest airport is Providence, RI. It’s only a 25 minute ride from the dealership. I can arrange to pick up at the airport. I also have a dealer plate that would allow for a test drive with a valid driver’s license for a serious buyer. Please call 508-557-0152 or email for any questions. Thank you. Sincerely, Marc Schiliro
