The transmission shifts slow into second, but doing research it is minor, it has a valve that is made of steel in a aluminum valve body that stick and effect line pressure. It has recently been flushed and has new filter and fluid, valvebody will probably need to be removed to fix it (4r100 Super duty transmission). Vehicle is in good condition and with a few parts and some elbow grease could be very very nice truck! I was gonna fix it up more but I need a 4dr or ext cab. The motor is completely stock, supercharger has NEVER been overdriven like most Lightnings. Perfect truck for the first truck/drag strip/week-end cruises/restore/collectors/ or put tools in and get to work fast. It was flushed 4,000 miles ago and then I changed filter and fluid, still hanging between 1-2 shift(stuck valve?).
