If you have, you know that even if you started with a free truck it would cost you over $30,000.00 to do to it what this truck has had done to it and it would take years to do it. This truck ahs been a Dry Idaho Truck All its life, and has great Original Floor Pans. I just don’t know how you make old bedsides look this good. The wood floor of the bed is completely re-done with all new Red Oak (with 10 coats of marine Varathane) and polished stainless bed strips and hardware. The frame and cross-braces were refinished when bed was off. The taillight lenses and Chrome housings are new, the tailgate is original, not one of those thin cheap re-pops from China!! The paint on this truck is a BEAUTIFUL New Two Tone Base/Clear paint job that has a deep, beautiful luster. I just can't say enough about what a great job was done on this truck. The front-end suspension of this truck is in great shape, as is the rear, driveshaft and u-joints also new. The grill and headlight surrounds are all nice. The front windshield and rubber is new, the door window channel and fuzzes are new, and the wing windows have good rubber. The windows roll up and down perfectly with no effort at all and ALL the glass is nice. The exterior mirror has been painted to match. The front chrome bumper is nice and rear chrome bumper is new. It has a good heater and de-froster. This is better than a new truck, nobody built a truck this nice in 1955!! If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come see and drive this BEAUTY for yourself, you won't be disappointed!! THIS IS A QAULITY TRUCK WITH 500 MILES SINCE RESTORATION!!This truck has a Powerful 350 CID GM motor with new Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock carb, new double roller timing set and water pump. This motor has plenty of power and sounds great too with the "throaty" new dual Flowmaster style exhaust system. Nothing sounds like a 350 Chevy with Dual exhaust when you lay the hammer down!! It is backed-up by a 700r4 4-speed overdrive automatic transmission with less than 500 miles on it and a mild shift kit that shifts perfectly, and has a Lokar floor mounted shifter again less than 500 MILES!! This truck is such a fun driver !!! I drove this truck a couple of days as my daily driver in town and on the freeway and I have to tell you it was a joy to drive. With its low first gear, boy it is fun off the line!! The gears were plenty tall for the freeway and it cruised along at 65 MPH in overdrive with no problem and it wasn't winding out, drove tight and didn't wander or pull to one side even when applying the brakes. The entire brake system was just gone through. This vehicle is in great condition from top to bottom and from front to back. THIS IS A QUALITY VEHICLE !! It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector truck. If you have been looking but can not find a nice Classic 5-Window 1955 GMC 1st Series Stepside Pickup worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one! The Two Tone Base/Clear finish on this vehicle is AWESOME AND EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL, I tried to get some pictures in the sun to show how nice the paint looks but they are a little washed out!! The Black interior very nice, what a GORGEOUS color combination!! Burgundy and Gun Metal Gray Metallic, how could you get any better!!? Check out the fit of the doors and the hood, they didn't come from the factory like this. ALL the gauges were replaced we new modern electronic gauges into the Chrome refinished gauge cluster including tachometer, they all work and give the interior that "resto-mod" look, old style with new performance, they even used a Lokar old style shifter. The Steel rims with chrome trim rings and GMC center caps and the nice radial tires gives it that sporty stock muscle car look. I looked underneath and it is nice underneath as well, (see included photos below). This truck has been taken apart and put back together less than 500 MILES ago!! Have you been looking to restore a 1955 GMC 1/2 ton 5-Window Stepside Truck? If you have, you know that even if you started with a free truck it would cost you over $30,000.00 to do to it what this truck has had done to it and it would take years to do it. This truck ahs been a Dry Idaho Truck All its life, and has great Original Floor Pans. I just don’t know how you make old bedsides look this good. The wood floor of the bed is completely re-done with all new Red Oak (with 10 coats of marine Varathane) and polished stainless bed strips and hardware. The frame and cross-braces were refinished when bed was off. The taillight lenses and Chrome housings are new, the tailgate is original, not one of those thin cheap re-pops from China!! The paint on this truck is a BEAUTIFUL New Two Tone Base/Clear paint job that has a deep, beautiful luster. I just can't say enough about what a great job was done on this truck. The front-end suspension of this truck is in great shape, as is the rear, driveshaft and u-joints also new. The grill and headlight surrounds are all nice. The front windshield and rubber is new, the door window channel and fuzzes are new, and the wing windows have good rubber. The windows roll up and down perfectly with no effort at all and ALL the glass is nice. The exterior mirror has been painted to match. The front chrome bumper is nice and rear chrome bumper is new. It has a good heater and de-froster. This is better than a new truck, nobody built a truck this nice in 1955!! This truck has a Powerful 350 CID GM motor with new Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock carb, new double roller timing set and water pump. This motor has plenty of power and sounds great too with the "throaty" new dual Flowmaster style exhaust system. Nothing sounds like a 350 Chevy with Dual exhaust when you lay the hammer down!! It is backed-up by a 700r4 4-speed overdrive automatic transmission with less than 500 miles on it and a mild shift kit that shifts perfectly, and has a Lokar floor mounted shifter again less than 500 MILES!! This truck is such a fun driver !!! I drove this truck a couple of days as my daily driver in town and on the freeway and I have to tell you it was a joy to drive. With its low first gear, boy it is fun off the line!! The gears were plenty tall for the freeway and it cruised along at 65 MPH in overdrive with no problem and it wasn't winding out, drove tight and didn't wander or pull to one side even when applying the brakes. The entire brake system was just gone through. This vehicle is in great condition from top to bottom and from front to back. THIS IS A QUALITY VEHICLE !! It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector truck. The Two Tone Base/Clear finish on this vehicle is AWESOME AND EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL, I tried to get some pictures in the sun to show how nice the paint looks but they are a little washed out!! The Black interior very nice, what a GORGEOUS color combination!! Burgundy and Gun Metal Gray Metallic, how could you get any better!!? Check out the fit of the doors and the hood, they didn't come from the factory like this. ALL the gauges were replaced we new modern electronic gauges into the Chrome refinished gauge cluster including tachometer, they all work and give the interior that "resto-mod" look, old style with new performance, they even used a Lokar old style shifter. The Steel rims with chrome trim rings and GMC center caps and the nice radial tires gives it that sporty stock muscle car look. I looked underneath and it is nice underneath as well, (see included photos below). This truck has been taken apart and put back together less than 500 MILES ago!!
