Vehicle Detail
1988 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Toyota quality, smooth starting, reliable vehicle. It is a daily driver and is garage kept, especially when the top is off. New parts: · Less than 6500 miles on NEW Toyota 3.0 V6 Fuel Injected engine. · Brand new (2011) ARB brush guard · Brand new (2011) Warn 8000 lb Winch · Brand new (2011) bikini top which completely covers the back seat. · Less than 5000 miles on 31” tires (replaced when engine was replaced). · New Battery (2011) · Comes with the hard top too (of course) This vehicle is stock except for the 3” body lift. It has the bulletproof Toyota drivetrain and 4 wheel drive, and it has rarely been in 4 wheel drive. It is exceptional mechanically. I would rate the interior an 9 out of 10. It is certainly in great shape for a vehicle of this age. The seats have no holes. There are two known issues with the vehicle. One is that the starter wire connection is loose at the starter and can keep the car from starting. This has happened to us twice in 3 years. It is a simple fix, you just push the connection back together on the starter, so we haven’t bothered to get it fixed. The second issue is that the heater/AC switch only works in settings 1(low), 3 (medium high) and 4(high). Level 2 (medium) does not work. Our shop tech told us this is as simple as replacing the switch. In Texas we tend to either want the AC or the heater on full blast, so we haven’t had this fixed. The top has only been off twice. We really love the car (my sons named her “Crystal”) and have had a lot of fun driving her around town with the top off. We really have grown attached to this unique, great running vehicle. She gets stares everywhere we drive her. Finding one of these classic vehicles intact and this stock is almost impossible. Unfortunately, we have 3 sons that have outgrown the back seat and we are looking for a larger car to accommodate our growing family. We hope the new owners will love Crystal as much as we have. Feel free to contact me if you live close and would like to test drive. $7,800 Starting Bid (Right to sell locally at any point; $1,000 deposit due within 24 hours of winning)
