NO RESERVE. 1969 Olds 442 Convertible in Nassau Blue. REAL 442 Convertible, NOT A CLONE.
Here is a North Texas Convertible that had a light restoration a couple of years ago. The interior is said to be her Original (great condition). The goal of this car was to make this a very Original car but yet upgrade and replace items to make this a great driver that you would get in and drive across the country and feel that you would make it. The Original 400 was long gone; so the engine was upgraded to a 455 and had a complete rebuild, the Original Automatic transmission was inspected, serviced and seals replaced. All engine seals replaced. The Intake was upgraded to an Offenhauser, Radiator was upgraded to an all Aluminum (Original goes with the car), the Ignition system was upgraded to an Electric MSD (Original goes with the car). Tires are BFG Radial T/A, Aluminum Valve Covers, Spare tire with restored jack and original Wheel. The Convertible top Electric Motor was replaced with a new Upgraded Original Style, the Heater Core was rebuilt and works great, the rear Bumper was replaced with a great new reproduction (I have the Original if the new owner wants), the electrical System has had a complete inspection and restore, New Correct 442 tail-pipe tips, New Complete Flowmaster Exhaust System. During the light restoration, the rear driver side fender had a repair due to a car backing into it, no major rust repairs, solid original floors and the frame is solid with no rusting from the inside. you will find a couple small cracks on the hood paint (see pics) Great 442 to drive and have something you can enjoy now and reliable as this car can get and being a real 442 Convertible; a great Investment. The Vintage 1969 Texas Plates are current and registered with the car. She also comes with a white top cover when the top is down. This is a North Texas 442. The underbody does NOT have that thick undercoating, it is solid and with her original floors. I have added underbody pics.
