DESCRIPTION For sale is a 1989 BMW 325 I/IS conversion with 150k original miles. Runs and drives excellent. Great example of this model. The tools are also included in the tool tray. Don't let this very nice car pass you by. If you have any question please email me! Bid with confidence. DETAILS ENGINE The engine is the 2.5 liter 6 cylinder. The engine run strong. Complete valve job was done. All new upper end, gaskets, water pump, timing belt, tensioners, fluids, filters, belts, and complete tune up. All maintenance is up to date. TRANSMISSION It has a 5 speed manual transmission. It goes into all the gears perfectly with no grinding or slipping issues. It has good bushings with no sloppiness in the shifter. INTERIOR It has a black leatherette interior with no cuts or tears in the seats. They are in excellent condition. The carpets are clean and not soiled. The dashboard has a few very small cracks as seen in the photos below. The headliner is in excellent condition but there is some wrinkling starting to show in the sunroof insert. PAINT AND BODY The body is in exceptional shape with paint in better than excellent condition. It has been repainted at some point, but it was an exceptional job. Care was taken to remove all trim, emblems, and lights. It has no dents, dings or scrapes. Absolutely no rust on the body. It has the front IS spoiler and rear trunk spoiler. Also comes with an extra pair of brake ducts the same color as the car. WHEELS AND TIRES It has 14" BBS mesh wheels with brand new tires. ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES It has an A/C system that works great and blows cold. The antenna works but doesn't come down all the way, every time. All the electrical components function correctly - mirrors, locks, antenna, radio, etc. Installed is the IS rear view mirror with lights. The driver side keyhole is stuck sideways but the door can still be unlocked using the trunk. Optionally, the door could be unlocked using an aftermarket alarm. EXHAUST It has the original factory exhaust system that is in great shape. SUSPENSION AND BRAKES It has great brakes front and rear with plenty of grip. Upon request, buyer can have their choice of black or body colored brake ducts and center grill. The black and gray cloth door panels will also be included. The sunroof opening has one side that has degraded. It is just at the very edge as can be seen in the photo below.
