I got this from the original owner in Washington state & it's still on the original title!! I'd prefer to keep this bike but it's hard to rationalize owning 6 motorcycles. When I got it, there was a small dent in the back right corner of the gas tank (from tipping over onto the original owners pickup) & a crack in each side cover- I pulled the dent, repainted that area only & recleared the entire tank, repaired the side covers, Inside of the tank is excellent & not "creamed". I was about to plate it when I bought 2 more motorcycles. I'll keep my other GS1150 & let this one go. It runs FANTASTIC!!!! The clutch & trans. work great! All original turn signals, mirrors etc.. Note how well you can read the lettering on the controls! If you're looking at this bike you already know of the impact this 4 valve 1150 engine design had on motorcycle drag racing for years?? I call these early sport-bikes........"Muscle-Bikes", they are becoming very collectible & represent an interesting transitional period in motorcycle history. Another interesting point with this bike is that is was built very early (june of '84) & the v.i.n. suggests it was the 167th Suzuki built- sequence number 100167- it could have one of the first '85 1150's sold?? I just added 3 more pictures of the bottom of the exhaust system. Also, the aftermarket luggage rack will be replaced with an n.o.s. black filler panel that is on it's way here.
