Vehicle Detail
Barn Found- 1970 Camaro Z-22 RS originally a 350- 4-speed car from factory (have console) with 12 bolt rear. Options- Air, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes. NOW HAS- 84 camaro350 #0010 runs strong but has a light wrist pin noise. Owner spent $2000.00 with Hurst to have new 350 turbo with reverse manual valve body installed and it still looks new and was done right. Original clutch pedal ,rod, and frame bracket still on car. when he brought to his home town in DE. the 12 bolt/4:56 was removed down south and 10 bolt/3:08 with highway gears was installed. 12 bolt remains down south in a freinds garage. Original multi 5 leaf spring's, disc brakes ,power steering, dual exhaust brackets, dash and air conditioning controls all in tack. 150 MPH speedo. All air conditioning componets are long gone under hood minus the bracket for the compressor that is on the motor. Has an L-88 fiberglass lift off hood. Cowl &firewall is solid and rust free. Floors are all solid and never patched minus a hole in drivers floor that needs repair. Needs total restoration but has strong & solid frame rails. Needs w-shield, both fenders, both rear 1/4s, front and rear lower valances,Damage above trunk lock at seal.Trunk has some light rust but is strong, Doors are salvageable. B pillars are strong. Rockers have some light dents but are very strong with light pin hole rust in a few spots. only 27k of these made and this one is a code #45 Green Mist, interior#723Dark green, and vinyl top G for green top. Interior is all there. Needs total restoration, Thanks for looking and God Bless your Christmas- call Steve 302-362-0077 (9am-10pm) serious bids only please-Reserve right to cancel auction- Body plate is Left to right-70 12487 NOR 228716 723 02C DG 45 G.On Dec-16-12 at 13:51:32 PST, seller added the following information: Added gas and a battery and it started right up very good sounding motor. Motor supposedly was rebuilt some years ago and has a roller cam in it (not radical). It is clean underneath with no signs of prior leaks. Has R header leak at gasket (coated Hedmann Headers) and a light noise in bottom does sound like wrist pin noise. Good brakes. Starts, runs and drives.
