IT'S ONE OF THE BEST BODIED ELEANORS I'VE EVER SEEN! CHECK OUT MY OTHER EBAY LISTINGS. 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible EleanorIntroduction Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS,LLC. You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars and trucks I’ve listed for sale nationally. I’ve got 15 years of classic car and truck experience. I’d like to put that experience to work for you. Over the years I’ve featured many classic cars and trucks at multiple different auctions across the United States. I consign multiple classic cars and trucks at all four of the Barrett Jackson auto auctions every year. I’m considered one of the top consignors at Barrett Jackson. I’ve had many classic cars and trucks sell in the top 25 highest sale priced vehicles for each event. They’ve also offered some of my cars as the “Marc Schiliro Collection”. I was fortunate to have Speed TV at my new facility for an interview for Barrett Jackson that aired during the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Palm Beach 2012. I also have had many cars that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I specialize in beautiful classic cars and trucks that have what I call “The Pop Factor”. I purchase classic cars and trucks that are finished, I redesign other people’s restorations and have also coordinated restorations from start to finish. I’m currently not doing full restorations as it takes too much time and money. I love what I do and I’m extremely passionate about it! I just opened a beautiful new facility located in Seekonk, MA. MS CLASSIC CARS is open to the public five days a week. We offer about 25 classic cars and trucks for sale with a few of them being on consignment. We also offer used cars, memorabilia and automotive detailing. Our facility is very neat and organized. When you call you deal directly with me. I appreciate the opportunity. Market I've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over fifteen years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only at the auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially the classics! I've learned it's not just the United States; it’s the entire world. Barrett Jackson stated, "Foreigners can sometimes represent 25% of the registered bidders at one of our auctions." At the Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ 2011 they stated, "There was a registered bidder from every state in the USA.” I've also learned that no matter the gender or age, all different people appreciate this hobby. Another example would be the Barrett Jackson auto auctions; not only do millions of people watch it live on the Speed Channel but hundreds of thousands of people attend these auctions. Every year the attendance of visitors at the event and number of viewers on T.V. increase. Over the years I've noticed that the extremely detailed classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Currently the overall market is on the raise once again. Certain classic cars are on the rise and others are on the decline. Typically, the classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people don't own. In other words, there are classic cars that haven't saturated the market. The cars that are at every car show and auction and page on the Internet for sale are the ones that aren't changing in value or are slowly on the decline. Of course, if the car is spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. It's all about supply and demand, not a good or bad economy. Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character. “I’m putting my money where my mouth is” I’m just a 36 year old blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz. I was selling my classic cars and trucks part time. Although I had my used car dealers license I didn’t have a facility that was open to the public. Overall things were going just fine. However, my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership. I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership. I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen and now have a lot more overhead. Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong? I consign anywhere from three to eight cars at each Barrett Jackson auto auction at no reserve because I know there’s always going to be bidders for classic cars and trucks. DescriptionYou’re looking at another beautiful classic car listed by MS CLASSIC CARS I’M PROUD TO SAY THAT I WAS THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR ON THIS RESTORATION. ALTHOUGH IT TOOK A LOT LONGER AND A LOT MORE MONEY THEN I EVER IMAGINED IT CAME OUT BEAUTIFUL. SO BEAUTIFUL I WOULD SAY ITS ONE OF THE NICEST ELEANOR MUSTANGS ON THE PLANET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BELOW AND I’ll TELL YOU WHY. Over all the years of collecting classic cars and trucks people always ask what’s your favorite classic car? I always answer, Eleanor from the movie “Gone in 60 Seconds”. This car is just awesome and I get excited every time I see one. A few years ago I built the world’s first documented 1965 Mustang Fastback Eleanor. It was featured in five Mustang magazines and all over the internet. Since then I’ve always wanted to build another but wanted to build something a little different than your common fastback. I chose to build an Eleanor Convertible! Unique Performance (the company originally building the Eleanors) did build convertibles as well as fastbacks. It was very important if I were going to build an Eleanor it would be a quality build. Unfortunately, most Eleanors on the market for sale were whipped together and have a lot of body issues. And others have great bodywork but the rest of the car isn’t show quality. To find one that has been done correctly isn’t an easy task. This 1967 Mustang Eleanor Convertible I had built is truly amazing. I knew when I planned to general contractor on this build the investment was going to be huge. Huge it was! I invested a fortune into this car and won’t give it away. As my introduction states I’m one of Barrett Jacksons top consigners. My plans are to consign this car to Barrett Jackson in Palm Beach, FL April 4-6, 2013 if it doesn’t sell. I wanted to start this build with a 1967 Mustang not a 1968 for obvious reasons. I found a very solid car to begin the restoration with in October of 2010. The body was restored by Standard Enterprises who is one of the best in the business. The car was put on a rotisserie and months were spent on the undercarriage. If you look under most Mustangs for some reason a lot of builders don’t spend much time on the undercarriage. This undercarriage is spectacular and even the photos don’t do it any justice. The floors were replaced and completely smoothed. Under the fenders, rockers, etc were also worked. Then the entire undercarriage was painted the same color as the car. It has been waxed to a show quality shine. This is an undercarriage you can put mirrors underneath at a car show to impress the crowds. The body was then worked and the Eleanor kit was molded. They didn’t just slap on the kit. The body gaps were made as perfect as possible and all the Eleanor moldings were smoothed unlike most other builds. The fiberglass hood was worked to fit excellent and then completely smoothed top and bottom. Look at the bottom of most Eleanor hoods, they're not finished. Then the front nose was added. All the pieces were molded together and there are no lines. Even the headlights were molded into the front fenders! Look at other Eleanor builds and you’ll hardly ever see this. The fender moldings are molded to the side moldings which you also don’t always see on other Eleanor’s. The quarter pieces were also molded and they match up to the rear deck lid excellent as well. The underside of the deck lid was also finished unlike most Eleanor’s. The last item to be worked on was the engine compartment. The engine compartment was completely smoothed to highlight all the bling. The exterior body work of this Eleanor is one of the best I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen ALOT! The car was then painted the correct color Pepper gray with black super snake stripes which look killer! The engine compartment was also painted the color of the car with the Super Snake stripes down the firewall. The paint on this car is truly amazing! Between the purchase of the car and the body I invested $60,000! Yes, $60,000! I have all the receipts to prove it. Understand this body shop isn’t employed by me. The entire body took about a year and a half. In late September I picked up the car as a rolling shell and gave it to another shop I work with named High-Tech Fabrication. They assembled the entire car over the last two months. They had an open check book for all the parts as I didn’t want to cut any corners. Listed below is everything I can think of that was added: Exterior: • Everything is brand new including all the glass, trim, mirrors, lights, decals, emblems, etc. • Tri bar headlights, LED taillights and custom fog lights and directionals. It has carbon fiber switch covers on console to activate all lights. • Cobra billet gas cap. • Power black soft top with a real glass window. I also have the plastic window for the rear that is included with the car. • The car is wrapped in custom built two piece American Racing Shelby 18” wheels. These wheels are amazing and match the car perfectly. The wheels are mounted to Nitto Extreme ZR tires that are 225/45/18 on the front and 245/45/18 on the rear. Interior: • The exterior is complimented with a completely brand new deluxe interior that looks amazing! (Remember this car was a rolling shell a few months ago so everything including the wiring is brand new. The cabin was wrapped with dyna mat to keep the road noise out. Every piece behind the dash, doors, etc was replaced or restored. The interior is wrapped in aluminum trim.) • Auto Meter Phantom gauges with aluminum bezel. • Flaming River polished steering column with Moto-Lita wood steering wheel. • Corbeau front seats with matching rear seat, custom made leather console with cup holders and armrest. • Hurst Shifter with custom aluminum bezel, shift boot and matching knob with red button on it. • TCP Aluminum pedals and Billet accessories. • Modern radio with Ipod that looks old and kick panel speakers. • Cobra carpeted floor mats. • Branda roll bar was welded on and looks killer! Since the photos I’ve had the panels wrapped with the matching material used on the rear seats that is tight around the roll bar, etc. Engine Compartment: • The engine compartment on this car is beautiful and very detailed as the photos indicate. You very rarely see Eleanor’s with engine compartments this detailed. • A completely rebuilt 351 stroker engine by Mark Jones. In my opinion he’s one of the best engine builders out there. This engine was dyno tested at 425 horsepower. • Some upgrades include aluminum heads, Holley Carburetor with custom Cobra air cleaner, QFT fuel rail, Ford racing valve covers, polished March V Track serpentine system and racing SS Aeromotive fuel pump. • MSD complete electronic ignition system including Ford racing wires. • Optima battery with custom billet case. • Billet Hinges with pumps. The hood opens and closes with one finger! • Polished power steering canister and alternator. • Custom billet windshield wiper fluid canister. • TCP billet tower brace. • Aluminum radiator with electric fan and polished overfill canister. Custom made polsihed hoses with rubber clamps. • Braided lines throughout. • Wilwood master cylinder with custom billet bracket on firewall. Undercarriage: • Ceramic coated headers with custom JBA side exhaust. • Brand new Tremec TKO 5-speed transmission with hydraulic clutch. • Brand new Moser 9” rear end with posi traction and 31 spline axles. • Brand new drive shaft. • TCP rack and pinion power steering. • PST front and rear suspension system with Belstein shocks. • CPP four wheel disc big brake kit with drilled rotors and red calipers. Stainless brake lines. There are many more things I haven’t mentioned. The bottom line is the car is an amazing 1967 Mustang Eleanor Convertible that the new owner will be proud to call there’s. GET IT BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES! Conclusion Classic cars and trucks make great investments and are extremely fun to own. It’s so exciting to search for a classic, purchase one and watch it come off the trailer, add your own touches, take it for a ride or just look at it sitting in the garage after a hard day at work. I do the best I can to represent my classic cars and trucks. My results, feedback and reputation speak for themselves.
