The year was 1949, remember? 1949 Pontiac Silver Streak Coupe 8cyl. Survivor Restoration Project VIN: p8rs16925, which translates to style 1949 Pontiac 2 door coupe with a straight flat head 8. All original survivor vehicle. Starts and runs (I have a video of the engine running), but the fuel tank has been removed (new one goes with car), it has no brakes, and although it needs tires, the original 15” rims with original wheel covers are included. Needs new windshield. Vertical chrome pieces for bumpers in trunk. 3 speed column shift. Original running straight flathead 8 engine and three speed transmission. Contact the listing agent regarding a short video that shows the engine running. The previous owner installed a remote start switch on the fender well right side. Original 6 volt electrical system which includes a new battery. This is a prime candidate for a complete restoration since everything is here, all the chrome, front and rear seats (springs), and even has some of the replacement metal parts (see images). Rust in front floor, replacement pans are included. Spare tire and jack. All four tires would need to be replaced. Although transport is the responsibility of the winning bidder, I am available to assist in any way possible. We recommend enclosed transport for this vehicle, and since it is considered a non-runner, it will have to be winched onto the transport.
