1979 lincoln Town Car.....61,000 miles ONE-OWNER Here is a great example of American Iron from the 70s, this fine automobile set the standard in ride and quality. Things have not changed for this one. To find one like this one is be very lucky, the owner passed away and the son stored the car for the last 5 years in a climate controled building. He finaly brought himself to sell the car because he wanted someone to enjoy it as much as his father did. This car will make anyone proud to own it, it drives down the road like the day it rolled of the assembly line. The Smooth power of the American V8 400 is unmistakeable, there is nothing like it. The tranny shifts smooth as silk and when you set the cruise and listen to the oldies station it will take you right back! I had a ford master mechanic go thru the car and he rebuilt the carb, inspected the unit and said this is one of the nicest old Lincolns he had seen in a long time. All the features work minus the clock, the door locks are a bit sticky, but are coming out of it. The paint is as nice as it looks in the pictures, inside also. You will see a dent on the hood where something fell on it. I did not repair it because I did not want to break the factory paint, it scuffed the fender a bit to. Otherwise you will not find major damage anywhere on the car...The rear bumper is the only real weak spot...Little crusty under it and on the back of it. It's not falling of the car tho.. Just want you to know....No cracks in the dash, no rips inside, no smoke smell.....YES THE MILES RE CORRECT..61000..The pinch welds are super clean also.....With this car you DON"T have to FIX the gas gauge.. IT WORKS, You do't have to fix the exhaust, it's fine...All you have to do is drive it and enjoy.......I am relisting this car due to non-payment from a 0-BUYER.....If you have less then 5 score you must contact me or your bid will be canceled. A 500.00 dollar deposit is due with in 24 hours of sale closing. This can be done in many ways, paypal, cash, wire transfer....The rest of funds are due within 14 days. Buyer is responsible for transportation and it must be picked up at a greed upon time but not to exceed 21 days unless seller agrees to store.
