Vehicle Detail
I just enjoy building and working on them. You could not build an engine and transmission complete like this for my starting price! I have driven it to work for MANY years, and put the new motor in it for fun this summer. The car does have 110 thousand miles but does not look like it, and there is a 2" tear on the front left ground effect that has been urethane epoxied on the inside (see pic), and also 2" wear on outer drivers seat edge (leather). It has some scratches and rock pecks on the paint but has great gloss to the clear and a faint blue pearl over the artic white, NO RUST, it has not been wrecked and just a light repaint with the blue pearl and clear ten years ago, it has all ways been garaged. The original weather stripping is worn but in place. I kept the 5.7 engine and for $300 you can have it also, it is mechanically fine (w/110,000 miles). It will shred the tires in the first four gears (probably 450 hp but not dynoed yet). It hits a nice lick and idles beautifully. It is a 10.5 to 1 compression 383 cubic inch stroker motor .030 over. Forged crank & rods (Scat) and Speed pro floating forged pistons with plasma moly rings, professionally cleared and balanced. The cam is a Crane .512 lift- 285-295 adv. duration and roller rockers. A smaller cam and it would be a great daily driver but not as fun! Proform aluminum heads 64cc (2.05x1.6 w/ 190cc intake), air gap polished manifold and roller rockers, 7.5 quart oil pan & HV pump, Tilton starter, Mallory CT pro ignition system, Quickfuel dp 650 carb., Holly fuel pump, alum. water pump, it will sit in traffic and idle at 160 deg. all day long no problem. Harwood latch type glass cowl hood, Hooker ceramic headers, new exhaust, new brakes, 1" drop springs, new shocks & struts, new tires (back ones a little worn :). The T5 transmission was professionally rebuilt, B&M ripper shifter, performance clutch- ALL BRAND NEW, and I have a list of the new internal transmission parts. The ONLY thing that does not work on this car is the fuel gauge (&AC, heat works fine & I prefer a mechanical oil gage) so I hit the trip meter and fill up with 100% high test gas every 150 miles. Bid over $6000 takes it! The car is worth more! Not a penny less. Thanks for looking!
