Here's the pickup you wish you kept, in the condition you wished you kept it in. Not quite old enough to be a classic, but nicely on its way. An attractive GMC with classic good looks. Totally stock. I bought it new in '96 from Transwest GMC in Denver. Colorado always; NO winter use. Zero rust. Zero salt or mag-chloride exposure.Totally original except for battery. Original tires, glass and paint. Non-smoker interior, and the seats were always covered in gray towels... no stains, no spills. I have many vehicles, so this GMC is mostly ignored while the others get used daily. It's for sale because I'm getting another company car, I have other GM trucks and I'm almost out of inside space. Currently, it's stored in a windowless insulated steel building with several others that are put away for the winter. No sun fade, no salt. While it has been used as a truck for truck-errands in the summers, it was never abused. From new, it has a Dura liner bed liner and tailgate cover. The top rails are covered in diamond plate because one of my truck loads of logs dented the top rails slightly. It has never towed anything, but does have a factory hitch. Original paint is great: no road rash, no stone chips, no door dings, and no fade. Original windshield is great, no big chips nor major pitting (no Colorado winters on the roadways). Chrome is perfect. The underside is clean, dry and perfect; looks new. Oil has been changed often, chassis lube always completed with oil and filter. Original stereo/CD & original wheels. One invisible upgrade includes 100w high-beam bulbs plus 4 headlight relay. Odd GM didn't do it. The tires are original & getting a bit noisy, but they still have great tread so I haven't changed them. These tires are not weather checked (stored inside all these years). All 4 measure about 8/32 tread depth if that's any indication of how moderately this truck is driven. I have the original Colorado title, GMC window sticker, owners books, documents, brochures, plus all maintenance history receipts. These photos show the truck accurately (not real clever with a camera), and we didn't detail it to take the pictures. Fly into Denver Int'l Airport, I'm about 45 minutes south (Google: Franktown, Colorado). You can drive this home without a single worry. This is the lowest miles 1996 GMC I've seen listed on e-bay...It'll sell for way over any book value that you can find... besides it's Red, it's a Z71 4WD, it's a one owner low miles Colorado truck and it's original. No funky dual pipes, no ugly wheels, no modifications and no issues. If you want a cheap truck, this isn't that truck... go bid one with 5X or 10X the miles. My bank will determine that things are right before I ever release this vehicle and title. No personal checks. Cashiers check, cash, or wire transfer subject to verification by my bank.
