Up for sale is a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 4.7L V8 engine that needs a little work. 162,XXX on the odometer. Kelley Blue Book lists this truck at $4,802 in the current condition with it's mechanical needs. The truck drives great 95% of the time and other times it wants to sputter when RPM's are low. (Never broken down though, just rough idle, rarely) Took it to a shop here in Durham,NC where they did some wiring work to it for oxygen sensors and said it may need a new computer. (Check Engine Light is on and it shows all 4 oxygen sensors are bad. They replaced 1 to see if that was the issue, but they believe there was a short in the computer at the O2 sensor port). Also, the heater core is leaking. I want a bigger SUV, or a pickup so I don't want to fix it. You can find the computer on eBay for $199 already programmed, just plug-n-play, or if you are not mechanically inclined, you can have it fixed at a shop of your choice for around $400. The heater core is around $77 at Advance Auto Parts.
