This auction is for my 74 Barracuda. It has been cloned into a 340 cuda. I have owned this car since 1997. The car was redone in 1995. At that time, it had a new right rear quarter panel,right rocker panel,decklid,trunk floor,and front floor replaced with new.The bumpers were rechromed, the upper and lower grilles were replaced with NOS parts.The interior had new legendary seat covers,carpet and headliner installed. A perfect black dash pad was also installed, and the side panels were all dyed black.The car was originally triple green. This paint is the same paint that was put on the car 17 years ago, and it still looks good. Engine- 1970 340- standard bore 10 3/4: 1 compression forged crank pro ported X heads with hardened seats 528 lift 286 duration solid purple shaft cam 273 hp adjustable rocker gear edelbrock performer rpm intake holley 750 vacum secondary street avenger carb mopar chrome box ignition module taylor wires accel high performance coil hedman headers Transmission- A727 dynamic 10.5" 2800 stall converter kevlar bands and clutch discs 5.0 kickdown band lever manual/automatic valve body mods urethane trans mount Rear and suspension- 8 3/4 rear- now has 276 open carrier for longer drives T/A Challenger rear springs KYB shocks front suspension was rebuilt 5000 miles ago(1997) 14" rallye wheels with 60 series tires all 4 corners front disc brakes(power) rear drum brakes- new drums and hardware This car starts right up and drives anywhere. I have taken it on several 100 mile trips to shows and functions. It drives straight and stops straight. As far as I know, it has never been wrecked. The car always turns heads and gets compliments every time I take it out. The engine runs strong, and has not used oil.The transmission shifts crisply, as a modified transmission should.The car has never worn tires. the frame and floors are solid. The paint still looks really good, the only problem area is where the left quarter panel meets the rocker panel it is blistered. The quarter and trunk trim pieces do have some dings in them, as they have been almost impossible to find. There is one very small ding on the right front fender. The cowl is solid. The hood hinge area on the left side was repaired with a welded in plate when the car was done in 1995, and is still solid.The grilles are still great, The bumpers still look like new, The windows are factory tinted, as this was originally an air conditioned car. The a/c evaporator is still in the car, as are the a/c heter controls and heter control valve. The condenser is long gone. The windshield washer bottle is incorrect, as it is supposed to be a foot pump unit. The radiator is a 26 inch, and is in good condition. The electronics all work, and the car has a current Pa state inspection. The wheel lip trim pieces are Metro reproductions.The Weld ProStars seen in the pictures are NOT included in the auction. I believe I have descibed the car very well, and hope I have not missed anything. If I did , please ask. This is a 39 year old car, so no warranty will be offered or implied. As I stated, I have owned this car for 15 years, and it is with heavy heart that it must go, but I have a new SRT Challenger coming, and need the room. Payment= A $500 non refundable paypal within 24 hours after the end of the auction. Remainder of balance must be paid within 7 days via certified funds or wire transfer to be verified by my bank. Vehicle is sold as is/where is and must be picked up. vehicle will not leave property until funds have cleared.
