1998 Ford Ranger XLT Supercab**NO RESERVE** 3.0L V6 Engine, five speed manual transmission, A/C, cruise control, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, sliding glass rear window, pop-out back windows and the cloth interior is clean and has no tears. In the last 15K miles I have replaced the following: windshield, alternator, power steering pump, water pump, idler pulley, tensioner pulley, serpentine belt, front brake rotors, front wheel bearings, front brake lines, both front lower ball joints, both front upper control arms/ball joints, all four shocks, new tires(18K miles on them), bled brake lines and replaced with new synthetic brake fluid. Nothing dramatic happened that forced me to change repair these things I just noticed that they needed some maintenance so I replaced them. I also have filled the engine, transmission and rear end with synthetic Mobil 1 oils. It has a brand new JVC single CD player with aux input and remote control and four brand new JVC speakers. I am selling this truck just because I need something with four doors. It has 217K miles on it and with all the work I've done it should be just fine for another 100K miles as long as you change the oil. The dent on the lower driver side door doesn't affect closing or anything. It's just cosmetic. I will post as many pics as I can here but I have taken many more. If you want to see more I can email them to you. I continue to drive this truck for work and I will be putting some miles on it. At the time of this edit it has 216700K miles on it. P.S. There are a couple of things I originally left off the description. First, since I took the picture of the front end of the pickup the blinker lens on the driver side has been ripped off by an automatic car wash. I knew it was loose but I forgot long enough to get it ripped off. Currently, I just have that amber tape over the light that you can buy at auto parts stores. P.P.S. I have a spare tire but not a spare wheel at the moment. The 14 inch wheels are hard to find around here but I do have the tire in the bed of the truck. On Dec-03-12 at 14:39:04 PST, seller added the following information: P.P.P.S. The temperature gauge works sporadically. It will either not register anything, register low or occasionally work perfectly right. I've replaced the temperature gauge sender and the other temperature sensor that sends the engine temp to the computer but it still only works sporadically. I either have a bad sensor or there is some gunk in the threads preventing the sensor itself from grounding properly. The engine doesn't overheat or anything. As long as the sensor that goes to the computer works the engine management system is working properly. P.P.P.P.S The door ajar sensor for the driver door is malfunctioning. This is a common failure item on these vehicles but I haven't torn the door apart to replace it. Apparently, it is in the door latch itself. This results in the "door ajar" light staying on all the time. Every once in a while it will shut off but it doesn't really bother me now. The part is about $22 from what I've read.
