The superb 300 Horsepower 4.2 V8 mated to a 6 speed ZF transmission features here which gives more power and better MPG than the previous, also superb 4.0 V8. (27.2 MPG is what I received in a similar car over 800 miles. That, folks is exceptional). The 4.2 Liter XK8 Carbon Fiber Package is the one to own. An absolute pleasure. This car has been inspected and found to be mechanically and electrically superb. This car is in excellent and original condition throughout and is a tribute to its 2 owners. I acquired this Jaguar for my inventory directly from the local and Mature Gentleman owner who bought it at 40k miles 4 years ago and has used it extremely gently during that time and only placed another 7,000 miles or so on the car. It was a gift from his wife for his 60th birthday!! This Jaguar has benefited its entire life from a Jaguar /Select Edition warranty so has wanted for nothing. It is quite simply a lovely example. The paintwork has the Luster of new. So nice!!! The engine and transmission are strong and smooth and all electrical components, including the convertible top operate as they should. The convertible top itself is in excellent condition.. ABSOLUTELY NO ACCIDENTS on this car !!!!! Please review the Autocheck history report in 2nd photograph. This is a NON SMOKER car!!! The interior is lovely. This Jaguar is quick. 6 seconds to 60 quick! Though so Very Smooth, oozing Class and Very Very Handsome!!!! SLATE 05's are always desirable and will hold their value well.
