Hello bidders, up for auction is this super clean 1986 S-10. I bought the pickup as a Father/ Son project needing interior and a paint job. I now realize that the S-10 has way to much power for him and I figure we would be best suited to get him something with less power. Under the hood is a fresh 355 with new speed pro pistons, new GM rods, standard crank, ported 202 camel back heads, crane rockers, pined studs, new lock nuts, comp cams 555/532 mechanical cam shaft, aluminum intake with a 650 holly carburetor. The trans is a fresh turbo 350 rebuilt with all red line parts and a 2500 stall converter. The rear end has a 355 non posi gear. The S-10 has new centerline wheels and new front runners. The rear tires are Hoosier street slicks. The body of the S-10 is super clean for a Michigan truck, I was told that it had been in storage for 15 years and it appears to look like a southern body. The frame and cab mounts are also very clean. Items that need attention on the S-10 are one cab corner was repaired and is beginning to rust again. I was told the hole was the size of a pop can and there is no rust on the back side or at the seam, only in the center.The Interior of the S-10 has good door panels , seats need to be recovered and the dash has cracks. needs windshield, and I would replace the entire exhaust system.
