Up for bids is a nice original 1978 Jeep Cherokee Cheif S 4x4 2door RARE LEVI Edition!!!! These are a hard to find rig in this condition. Its powered by a V8 engine we beleive to be a 360ci. and 4V carb., Factory AC, Tilt wheel, Factory Cruise control, 92,103 miles showing and looks to be the original miles. This Jeep is in its original conditon that has been repainted once a long time ago. No majoir rust showing only some small suface & bubbles but nothing bad. We puchased this Jeep from a bank in Kansas where it was a repo. It looked like it had been in storage for a long time when we got it. We put in a battery and some fresh fuel and it fired right up. I have driven it around alittle but it will need a going through before it will be totally road worthy. The alt. guage works as does the speedo but the other guages do not, maybe just a fuse or something who knows. The rear power window works but its slow sometimes. There was an extra carb & radio in the Jeep that will go with the sale. The original spare tire & wheel are on the right rear right now be we do have the other wheel & tire with the center cap. The tire is bad & will need to be replace as with the rest of the tires to make it drivable. The AC is all there but not working, I have not drove it alot so I never tried the cruise to see if it works or not. Remember it was in storage for awhile so it will need to be looked over and serviced out plus other things done to make it road worthy.
