The automatic dual zone computer controlled a/c is very cold and the heater is just as hot! We did note a small electrical "gremlin" with the a/c. When you put the a/c on full blast cold sometimes the a/c compressor will shut off and the vents will blow normal uncooled air. If you turn the a/c down to middle or low speed it will resume operation and work fine. We haven't diagnosed the cause, but the a/c functions perfectly as long as you don't set it to maximum cool. It could be a simple fix, but we did not want to get further into it to see what exactly the car needs. The premium aftermarket in-dask CD stereo works well and sounds great! This car really does handle the speed just like you'd expect any Volvo to handle it! The car's suspension is still very tight. Keeping you on the road is a very good set of matching tires. Acceleration is very smooth thanks to all the torque that the engine provides. You really feel in control of the car when its accelerating! Just as you'd expect for an all wheel drive car! Like all Volvos at this vintage you will experience a rough shift occasionally when you drive it. This seems normal as all the S60s i've driven seem to feel the same. This Volvo handles the speed very well 80 mph feels just as comfortable as 40 mph! The car will hold the speed beautifully thanks to the cruise control which works great. The suspension absorbs any of the bumps the road has giving you a very smooth ride. The brakes stop the car evenly and effectively! Emergency stops feel very stable. As far as safety goes, with driver's and passenger's front and side airbags you're protected from any misfortune that you may find on the road.
