SUMMARY: This 1970 Dodge Charger is an awesome vehicle - the Charger is a legend in itself and this one is in really good shape. I bought this car seven years ago - it is the same model I had when I was seventeen years old. It was in decent shape when I bought it, but I have added a few upgrades. I replaced the quarter panels, replaced the gas tank and sending unit, put in a brand new high performance flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, upgraded to high performance parts, had the transmission rebuilt, put in a new exhaust, added new gauges (the old ones are not working, except for speedometer), added Cragar chrome rims which look great and painted the car. Some of this work was done over the last few years, but most of it has been done in the last six months. The interior seats are new and in excellent shape. The car has only been driven a few times a year. It has been garage kept and covered. The car feels good when driving - it pulls through every gear, it feels strong and solid. The motor is a 440 4-speed with a pistol grip shifter. It has a lot of power. It sounds mean just at idle. Expect to get a lot of "thumbs-up" at every turn and expect to get a lot of people stopping you to admire the vehicle. Even Mopar "haters" can't deny the beauty of this vehicle. The mileage on the car reads 47,391, but the true mileage is unknown. It is with a heavy heart that I am selling this vehicle - it is because I have other commitments that I need to attend to and if I could I would keep it. You will be very happy with it! VIN #: XP29N0G184308 EXTERIOR: This 1970 DODGE CHARGER has a brand new paint job in rare metallic dark green with flat black accents on hood and tail. It has a new vinyl top. The car has all factory chrome moldings. All door gaps & lines are PERFECT! No scratches, no rust. - LOOK AT PICTURES!!! The paint job is high gloss. You can see perfect reflection of background in the pictures. The Cragar chrome rims look sharp and give it a classic look! All glass is in excellent condition. Working hide away headlights. Wiper motor is not working (I never drive the car in the rain, so I never got that fixed.) INTERIOR: The interior is in very good condition. The seats are custom and in excellent condition. They are a two tone, fabric and vinyl. The door panels are original and complete but have wear. The carpets are clean and fairly new. The headliner is in perfect condition, no tears. The dash is original and in fair condition. Gauges on dash are not working, except for speedometer. This car has new aftermarket gauges. MOTOR: Even at idle, this 440 sounds MEAN!! It has high performance cam, lifters and Hooker headers (See video clip http://youtu.be/27HFdMsQJ6Y ). The car starts with ease and drives beautifully. It has all the power you will want and need. TRANSMISSION: This 1970 Charger comes with a 4 speed manual transmission which was rebuilt about 6 months ago. Comes with Hurst Pistol Grip shifter. It has a brand new flywheel, clutch and pressure plate. It shifts effortlessly through all gears. No hesitations. No problems down shifting. The car pulls in every gear. SUSPENSION: New front and rear sway bars with fairly new front gas shocks and rear air shocks. TIRES & BRAKES: The tires have about 80% tread left.
