IT'S A BEAUTIFUL SHOW QUALITY CAR. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION AND CHECK OUT THE PHOTOS. CHECK OUT MY OTHER EBAY LISTINGS. 1979 Pontiac Trans AmIntroduction Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS,LLC. You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars and trucks I’ve listed for sale nationally. I’ve got 15 years of classic car and truck experience. I’d like to put that experience to work for you. Over the years I’ve featured many classic cars and trucks at multiple different auctions across the United States. I consign multiple classic cars and trucks at all four of the Barrett Jackson auto auctions every year. I’m considered one of the top consignors at Barrett Jackson. I’ve had many classic cars and trucks sell in the top 25 highest sale priced vehicles for each event. They’ve also offered some of my cars as the “Marc Schiliro Collection”. I was fortunate to have Speed TV at my new facility for an interview for Barrett Jackson that aired during the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Palm Beach 2012. I also have had many cars that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I specialize in beautiful classic cars and trucks that have what I call “The Pop Factor”. I purchase classic cars and trucks that are finished, I redesign other people’s restorations and have also coordinated restorations from start to finish. I’m currently not doing full restorations as it takes too much time and money. I love what I do and I’m extremely passionate about it! I just opened a beautiful new facility located in Seekonk, MA. MS CLASSIC CARS is open to the public five days a week. We offer about 25 classic cars and trucks for sale with a few of them being on consignment. We also offer used cars, memorabilia and automotive detailing. Our facility is very neat and organized. When you call you deal directly with me. I appreciate the opportunity. Market I've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over fifteen years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only at the auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially the classics! I've learned it's not just the United States; it’s the entire world. Barrett Jackson stated, "Foreigners can sometimes represent 25% of the registered bidders at one of our auctions." At the Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ 2011 they stated, "There was a registered bidder from every state in the USA.” I've also learned that no matter the gender or age, all different people appreciate this hobby. Another example would be the Barrett Jackson auto auctions; not only do millions of people watch it live on the Speed Channel but hundreds of thousands of people attend these auctions. Every year the attendance of visitors at the event and number of viewers on T.V. increase. Over the years I've noticed that the extremely detailed classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Currently the overall market is on the raise once again. Certain classic cars are on the rise and others are on the decline. Typically, the classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people don't own. In other words, there are classic cars that haven't saturated the market. The cars that are at every car show and auction and page on the Internet for sale are the ones that aren't changing in value or are slowly on the decline. Of course, if the car is spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. It's all about supply and demand, not a good or bad economy. Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character. “I’m putting my money where my mouth is” I’m just a 36 year old blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz. I was selling my classic cars and trucks part time. Although I had my used car dealers license I didn’t have a facility that was open to the public. Overall things were going just fine. However, my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership. I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership. I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen and now have a lot more overhead. Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong? I consign anywhere from three to eight cars at each Barrett Jackson auto auction at no reserve because I know there’s always going to be bidders for classic cars and trucks. DescriptionYou’re looking at another beautiful classic car listed by MS CLASSIC CARS I’m proud to present my first second generation 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. This is a one owner car with only 76,756 original miles! It still has the original MA title from 1979. This car is all original except a recent paint job and light service work. It is a beautiful looking car and priced very competitively. This car was purchased brand new by Mr. Maxwell at Perry Pontiac Cadillac Inc. in Waltham, MA on 07-16-1979 as the original title documents. The original title and dealer tag from rear bumper is pictured below. Mr. Maxwell took out a lien and paid off the car on 07-02-1982. He owned this car for 33 years! This car was treated like a baby and shows amazing. The car is all original except a recent show quality paint job and some light service work. Yes, the body panels, glass, interior, trunk compartment, engine compartment and undercarriage is original. This is a great looking car that turns a lot of heads. It runs and drives excellent. The engine still has a lot of snap. The new owner will be the second owner. This car is great for all occasions including a daily driver, weekend driver, cruise in’s or car shows. Get it before some else does! Here’s a list of what was done in the last month: • The original red paint was faded and oxidized so it received a show quality paint job in the original color. The body was prepped correctly and buffed to a brilliant shine. All new decals were added. The car also got an entire new gasket kit for hood, doors and trunk. • The rims were all painted and clear coated for show shine. They were wrapped in brand new BF Goodrich Radial T/A’s that are 225/70/R15 all the way around. • The interior is 99% original and in amazing shape. The only items that were replaced were the carpets and radio. The kick panels were also painted. Everything in the interior works. • The engine compartment is also original. The V8 engine has never been rebuilt and runs great. The engine was painted along with some other components. The four barrel carburetor was rebuilt and fuel filter was replaced. New plugs and wires were also added. • The turbo 350 transmission is original and shifts great. The transmission fluid was changed. • All four brakes were replaced and the car stops great. • The exhaust system is original with factory cats. The rear tail pipes were replaced. Conclusion Classic cars and trucks make great investments and are extremely fun to own. It’s so exciting to search for a classic, purchase one and watch it come off the trailer, add your own touches, take it for a ride or just look at it sitting in the garage after a hard day at work. Classic car and truck collectors aren’t just in the United States but worldwide. The classic car and truck market is growing every day. It’s seen at car shows and auctions, in magazines and on TV shows. Get your new classic car or truck today. You only live once, if you can afford it, do it! I do the best I can to represent my classic cars and trucks. My results, feedback and reputation speak for themselves. Everyone’s opinion of a classic car and truck is different and I encourage questions prior to a purchase. I have a beautiful showroom with excellent lighting and a lift for a complete inspection if requested. Inspections will be scheduled by appointment only. The closest airport is Providence, RI. It’s only a 25 minute ride from the dealership. I can arrange to pick up at the airport. I also have a dealer plate that would allow for a test drive with a valid driver’s license for a serious buyer. Please call 508-557-0152 or email for any questions. Thank you. Sincerely, Marc Schiliro
