Land Rovers can take on any challenge, on or off road, whatever the weather- there is no stopping them. This Discovery has had no trouble taking on anything from the dunes at the beach to snow storms to long trips to New England every summer. Comes fully loaded with leather, heated seats, dual sunroofs, home link, 6 disc changer, towing package and more. Has been meticulously maintained by a Land Rover enthusiast. Had a recent tuneup which included the following:-Kingsborne 8mm spark plug wires-New spark plugs, air filter, induction cleaning, and fuel system cleaning-Differential fluid swap-New transmission fluid and filter-Shell Rotella oil and Mobil 1 filter changed every 3000 miles-New water pump with full coolant system flush and refill-New serpentine belt-Air conditioning Checked and Serviced, with refrigerant and oil added in 2010, follow up checks showed no more coolant needed -->VERY IMPORTANTLY- Front drive shaft has been fully rebuilt with 3 greasable U joints and center bearing. This is an essential maintenance step, as the drive shafts are originally equipped with inferior U joints that break down over time, potentially leading to catastrophic drive shaft failure (essentially the shaft breaks apart, flailing violently, tearing apart the transmission, transfer case, and leaving you S.O.L). These replacement U joints are the highest quality, U.S. made parts available. For Land Rover enthusiasts this is crucial. Any one interested in a used Land Rover should always check for this detail, otherwise be prepared to get it rebuilt or face the consequences of ignoring this issue. Mechanically, this car is SOLID. Just get in and drive! As pictured the car has a few cosmetic issues, as to be expected from a vehicle of its age- there is a small rust spot on one of the back doors. The bumper is slightly damaged due to an elderly person backing into the truck in the drive way at a low speed. The interior shows less than normal signs of wear and tear- as you can see from the pictures, this car is in great shape! This car is equipped with Home Link System so no need garage door openers.
