Vehicle Detail
I pulled this auction off because I forgot to give information about the VIN number. It could affect how potential bidders may bid based on how they feel about a car that has been issued a new VIN. This happened prior to my purchase in 2002 and it is now located in the door opening (pictured). I not sure why it was reissued a new VIN and the history report through e-bay shows only that a new VIN was issued. Call if you have questions on this. This is a car you have to see and drive to appreciate. A few items were added below to the original script. My intention was to keep this car and pass it down to my kids, but due to recent financial hardships in the family, I am forced to sell it. This is a very nice GN with low miles and a rust free body and undercarriage. The interior looks as good as it did when it left the factory. The only change inside was the installation of rally gauges, similar to the GNX's. I have the original stock gauges pictured with the original miles. The undercarriage is extremely clean. The enhancements include rear axle reinforcements, bilstein shocks and larger stabilizer bars front and rear. The suspension and steering are very responsive. These changes make the car really fun to drive. The transmission pan is cast aluminum for strength and better cooling. Inside the trunk there is cross-bracing behind the rear seat to improve the chassis rigidity. The engine bay is as clean as new, and it looks even better with all the chrome detailing. Changes with the engine include 32lb. injectors, intake filter and a different chip. The tires are 245/60 front and 255/60 rear and have 90 percent of their life left in them. The wheels are rust free. The exterior paint looks very good, but it is not show quality. There are some small rock paint chips on the lower half. The front fender has a couple of small dents as shown in one of the pictures. Overall, I get a lot of nice comments on the car and it is a blast to drive with the above mentioned changes. Everything works on the car except the air-conditioning - which just needs recharging. The mufflers may need replacing since they rattle on the inside at idle, but sound good going down the road. Also, it doesn't have a spare tire. A new scan master and a nice fitted cover are included. This car package is hard to beat for the money. It's a blast to drive and runs very, very well. If you are interested, please call or come see it. This way, all your questions will be answered and you know exactly what you are bidding on. If you need additional pictures, please let me know. There is a $500 deposit required 24hrs after the auction is done. Duane 248-842-6869 On Nov-22-12 at 11:53:25 PST, seller added the following information: The total miles on the vehicle is 46,000. The original gauge shows 22k and the one installed shows 24k.
